I am pleased for Joe as well. I just hope no one puts in any stupid ideas that he has to leave WHU to do it again.

...precisely why I'm NOT pleased. I don't want SGE getting in his ear or Ashley Cole giving him lip etc etc...I'm genuinely scared.

    chelsea,the death of
    Joe Cole....

JC can still get the call though his team has been relegated.
But over the years, this has ruined many internationals in England.

I dread this, but I believe Joe may leave very soon for greener pastures ( and dollars ).

Well we can only hope he does what is right and supports the club.

......If he has to play in the Premier to get the International games he wants, would it be wise to loan him to a premier team for the year as oppossed to just selling him?

I think that would negate our chance of going up in one year. Plus he may decide he wants to make the move permanent.

In either case - Joe Cole is our savior.

I agree he is our savior, but only if he stays with the team, Lets say Joe gets it in his head he HAS to stay up (To stay in International contention) and wouldn't be willing to come down w/ us, should we Loan him, Instead of lose him?

Or if he is unwilling to come should we just show him the door?

Would be unusual, but might be worth a try. Maybe a team could loan us two young players - fringe starters for a Joe Cole and we get some talent.

    Something to consider.
