De Bruyne and Thiago Alcantara (even if he hardly ever plays)... and maybe Odegaard Paul Pogba also had this. And prob Christian Ericcson back in the day. cancelo had a dollop of it too.....
I see a lot of ppl comparing Trent to KdB. but unless I've missed it, KdB uses his right foot almost exclusively whereas Trent works magic with either foot, and doesn't miss a beat.

Trent is a huge F1 fan, as is Virgil. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/oct/22/virgil-van-dijk-loves-f1-trent-alexander-arnold-alpine

Golf / F1. No contest, although I’ve had do without for a couple of seasons now. ESPN is the only carrier of F1. I didn’t mind paying ESPN but then they started charging extra above their subscription rates for F1 and Cricket. So fk them. I’ll show them. They’re going to miss part of my social security the money grubbing swine.

Either that, or he's doing a great job of helping his agent squeeze every pound out of the club for his next contract.
His stated goal is about an individual honor, not about the club he's with. Sounds like RM would be a good match for him.
Yup. Regret the potential loss of fee but I’m not terribly disappointed. Haven’t been impressed with his demeanor on/off the pitch over the past couple years.
But that’s the problem isn’t it? We are all on the outside so we have no way to know if this is a negotiating ploy or the real deal. Or a mixture. If I’m trying to get Salah money from Anfield (i.e. a lot less than Real or City would pay, but a lot more than I’m on), I wouldn’t want to show Anfield that I really want to stay, I’d show that I have other realistic options. All players, all clubs do this. Play A off against B and get a better deal. Mbappé did it in advance of his move, Suarez, Coutinho, Bellingham, all of them. This is the coin of the realm in contract negotiations. There were strong, yes, very strong rumors that Mbappé was working with Liverpool and/or Arsenal to make a deal work. Nike were going to pay his wages, etc. and City had also thrown their hat in the ring. When he eventually moved to Real, it transpired that not only had he not been working with Anfield, in his entire career, at no stage ever had he or anyone in his camp ever had contact with any PL side. Ever. Now, it’s entirely possible TAA does want off to Madrid, but I would wonder given his connection to the club that he wouldn’t have informed them of that? He doesn’t need to antagonize Liverpool by moving for nothing or half-nothing in the way McManaman did. Real have shown zero problems in finding the money when they want a player, so it’s not as if he needs to make himself more attractive. Mbappé’s signing on fee at Real was less than his transfer fee would have been (I think about (€80-100m), but not hugely. Then again, Mbappé didn’t have the emotional attachment to PSG as TAA does to Liverpool. At the end of the day, we all know nothing and trying to divine if he definitely stays or definitely goes, from the outside, is pretty much impossible. They could be arse deep in negotiations at the moment and both sides have agreed to keep it quiet. We just don’t know.
Micah Richards take on Beckham and Trent. Unbiased, of 'course' but not a bad article. https://www.liverpool.com/liverpool...nt_medium=web&int_campaign=more_like_this_top
Micah Richards is a gibbering giggling fool. I doubt he could tell you the time of day if you gave him a clock and a few big hints.
Micah is so unprofessional - really though to watch and/or listen to him on various pods. Him and Jamie need to tone it down a bit
