I saw that in an e-mail from NUFC, and that was my first thought as well. But I have to admit that I like the black-and-white better. Now, slap a Newcastle Brown Ale logo on the front, and then we'd be talking.
Of course, Newcastle will never stray from the White & Black vertical stripes for the home kit. It's always the away kits that change. *What really makes the away kit sharp is the blue/maroon socks with gold stripes. Brilliant.
