    Not forgetting the distance between most MLS clubs in the first damn place. I'd love to see the end across from The Fort populated with fans of opposing teams but with the possible exceptions of the Mutts and DCU, it's not going to happen in the near future.

    As was already said, American fans are a different animal.

    not bigger than whole Europe tho ;) (UEFA, Champ cup travel etc)

    It might get there in 10-20 years maybe, at least for some clubs :)

    The titile of the article is just so insulting. To say that this match finally a demonstrated passion in a soccer game involving a US club team is just ridiculous. Sure there are plenty of matches that can be dull in the MLS, but there are plenty of matches in which passion by the players and fans is clear.

    He could have come up with any number of other titles to describe the night but chose that one. What a prick.

    #1 The headlines aren't his fault.
