CF Travis Bowen, who was cut by Albanian side FK Bylis Ballsh in January, has been picked up by Akademija Pandev in Macedonia's Prva liga (top tier) This happened August 21 - he has already played in 1 game for Pandev, (21 minutes as a sub / also as an unused sub last week) who are currently in 4th place after 3 matches Travis (28) who is from LA, played college at Oxnard before playing USL for Phoenix and LA Galaxy II Note: he is the older brother of Tristan Bowen (currently without a team) - thanks to Dave Marino-Nachison for that snippet
Akademija Pandev is based in Strumica, Macedonia. They obviously have some money behind them (compared to other smaller Macedonian clubs) and they are currently building a new training centre. The league has two decent clubs (Vardar, and Shkendija), and the drop off after the top 2 is huge. Akademija Pandev will be hoping to change that in a few years.

Started on the bench today......not sure when he entered the match, but he scored Akademija Pandev 2nd goal in the 82' in a 2 - 0 win over Pelister in First League. Move up to 2nd place. That would be Travis' first goal for his new club

Full video of the match https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1711153098903705 His goal is at around 1:49:35
Travis scored Akademija Pandev 3rd goal today as they went on to beat Teteks 4 - 1 (6 - 1 agg) in the Macedonian Cup quarter finals
Travis was also credited with an Assist on the 2nd goal "Ganchev opened the score in the 21st minute. In the 33rd minute, Bowen greatly lost Stoilov, who got rid of the opponent's defender and shot 2-0 after a halftime break. Bowen had a really great match, who crowned with a goal in the 68th minute of the match" <From Pandev's Web Report on the Match>
According to macedonianfootball.com he has signed with Pelister (Macedonian 1st tier). http://macedonianfootball.com/2018-winter-transfers-roundup-1-mfl/
Travis came off the bench at 77' as Pelister are held in a goalless draw with FK Skopje in Macedonia First League

La Preferente had him at Guadix in 2019/20, and he joined Detroit City last fall. https://www.lapreferente.com/J258782/guadix-cf/bowen.html https://www.detcityfc.com/news_article/show/1117325 But I don't think he's currently there.
