Hey Scott, Gonna be tough as there are graduations that weekend and it's the summer. I would suggest anywhere near an MBTA stop. Also, there are a limited number of tickets for this game available again through AO. http://theamericanoutlaws.com/stroe
Since I am coming into Boston on my own, I made a reservation at the Hostel International Boston as it is just down the street from Fenway where I am going Sunday to see the Sox-A's game on Sunday and a few minutes from the subway, the Hynes Convention Center stop on the Green line. A good price too if you need something cheap. http://www.bostonhostel.org/
We've sold out three buses and are considering running a fourth bus. Currently trying to size up what the demand is for a fourth bus. If you are deadly serious about taking the bus please email AmericanOutlawsBoston@gmail.com ASAP or post here your intension. We have 14 people committed right now but we need more than that to justify spending the money.
Boston.TheAmericanOutlaws.com All the info is there. It's $25. Drinking is allowed on the bus. Not sure what you mean by served. It's a 40 minute ride to the stadium so there won't be any inflight meals. We need to know ASAP if people are going. How many people are in your party?
no inflight meals? hmmm, how about warm mixed nuts? kidding, of course. i wasnt sure if drinking was allowed on the bus or if one of the bars that you were leaving from would be providing a keg or something of the sort.
i could possibly have a group of 8...but getting them to commit to anything is like herding cats so im not definite yet
Just to provide a visual reference: Just FYI, but the total number of seats in these three sections is around (if not a bit more than) 1,500.
AO Boston has ordered a fourth bus for this game. It will run from the Phoenix Landing in Central Square, Cambridge. It is $25 like the other buses. Please PayPal AmericanOutlawsBoston@Gmail.com With info on who is on your bus in the party. It will be BYOB bus ride and a BYOB tailgate, there are plenty of liquor stores near the Phoenix Landing. For more info please email us or visit Boston.TheAmericanOutlaws.com
US Soccer is announcing open practice sessions @ Gillette on Friday, June 3... USA @ 4:30-5:30 PM Spain @ 6:30-7:30 PM
What, did you see they are charging $20 in advance and $25 at the gate to attend the practice, little crazy.
I did not see that, so thanks for clarifying. Is that standard practice, or is Gulati being Krafty, I wonder. In any event, I'll be at a family reunion in Cape May that weekend, hoping I can escape (graciously) at just the right time to watch the game. To all who attend in person, enjoy!
I just actually managed to find my ticket stub from the Chelsea open practice before the 2006 MLS All-Star game, and saw they charged $25 plus ticketbastard fees, and this was for a club team's preseason practice. I don't think $20 for two national team practices is that bad. Though considering that I've sent in my $ to reserve a spot on a bus, I've met the one member of the USMNT I currently have any desire to meet, and I f***ing hate Spain (though I love the architecture), I'm definitely skipping the practices.
