Dudes in Boston and New England are looking to fill a van to this game. Let us know if you are interested.
GOREVS are you with AO? I'm in the Hartford chapter and heard we may be teaming up on this. You don't even have to stop the van, just slow down on 84 and we'll hop in.
I'm organizing a carpool from Albany to Buffalo. AO Buffalo is heading up a bus to Columbus. Last figure I saw was about 30 people so far, between us, Buffalo, and AO Rochester. If anyone's interested contact one of those chapters!
AO just released a final batch of tickets. Available until sold out. Go here: http://www.theamericanoutlaws.com/store
Marriott, the new official hotel of U.S. Soccer, is running a contest to win a trip to this game. Details here: http://marriott.promo.eprize.com/ussoccer/
12,000+ tickets sold during presales, per Columbus Dispatch blogger Shawn Mitchell. https://twitter.com/smitchcd/status/227914051844448256
Very nice, given that it's 12k during presales. Vast majority are US/Crew supporters groups. Bravo! I'm in with 3 other buddies.
Additional seats to be added for #USMNT vs. Jamaica 2014 World Cup Qualifier http://www.thecrew.com/news/2012/07/usa-vs-jamaica-world-cup-qualifier-nearing-sellout
Ahh Ha procrastination paid off for once. Waited to get tix. Weren't many decent ones left last week so didn't do it. Then I saw this announcement and order last night. 2nd row! In special bleachers on field in south end of stadium. My kids are going to have blast at this one. Hopefully no tests the next day in school or soccer practices/games that night.
As part of the effort to provide more access to the National Team, the U.S. will host a public training session Sunday, Sept. 9, at 10:30 a.m. ET at Columbus Crew Stadium. Admission and parking are free. http://www.ussoccer.com/News/Mens-N...oster-for-Aug-15-Friendly-Against-Mexico.aspx
Tickets arrived today. AO is section 134. Sam's Army is 133, with 140 as overflow. Crew supporters groups are in the Nordecke sections.
So special bleachers in south end must be nearly gone so now they've added special bleachers north end - which would be the stage. Hopefully another uptick in ticket sales after last night's historic win. This is going to be freaking awesome. I just kind of wish now that they would have done stage tix first since they are between supporter's sections. But I'll take my 2nd row in south end. Hopefully a goal and sweet celebration with us will ensue.
im assuming mine are north end because the ticket said nblch which i figured was meaning north end bleachers
