Haven't heard yet. I'd bet at JU or UNF. On a side note AO Jax is painting the Tifo Wednesday night if anybody wants to help out.
It won't be at JU. They just tore up the field after LAX ended to remove the track. I bet they'll be at UNF's stadium. They don't have a football team but their stands at their track facility are huge and really nice. I imagine they'll try to avoid Everbank's fields due to the construction at the stadium. AO JAX just tweeted out that they won't be allowing and flagpoles into Everbank. :/ Also it looks like neither of the two main video boards will be ready on Saturday
Almost 40,000 tickets sold for U.S. soccer match in Jacksonville http://members.jacksonville.com/new...000-tickets-sold-us-soccer-match-jacksonville
To piggyback on this, I spoke to someone at the ticket office and the NFL clear bag policy will be in effect for the Nigeria match. Save yourself the trouble and don't bring a bag.
So, no replays?? That is pretty lowrent for what they are charging for tickets..... Including a belt camera case?
That's asinine. So I can't bring the same mini camera case I used in Germany in '06 and Costa Rica in '09 in my own country? How is this an NFL game again? But thank you for the info, I'm not shooting the messenger....
I agree with the bolded above. The policy varies from stadium to stadium when it isn't an NFL game. I went to to USWNT match in Atlanta at the GA Dome (Falcons) and the bag policy wasn't in effect. Everbank apparently has decided that the NFL Policy is in effect regardless of who is in the stadium, I guess.
Any one know if AO or anyone else will have tickets on game day? My girlfriend's friend decided to join and I need one more.
They have smaller video boards in the 4 corners that should be active for replays (assuming they're done replacing them as well). You can see two of them in this pic:
That is about right, sometimes closer to 45 min, would expect the team to arrive 2 hours to 90 minutes kickoff, when they arrive a few will take a walk out to the pitch, in Hartford JK signed a photo for me when they arrived.
I'm coming from Montgomery. I think there are a few people from here coming. We just got our AO chapter approved. AO Montgomery #130!
nice. We're hoping AO Valdosta will make it official this summer. I still haven't heard where they're practicing. Twitter and Instagram have been oddly quiet.
"Thete's a training session open to the public scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday at EverBank Field" found this on the Jax newspaper site in an article about tickets sold.
