    Hey SoCal folk,

A humble request...my Dad and I are heading on down for the final, and are figuring out travel logistics. If you guys had any suggestions for hotels, flight deals (Thanksgiving travel time makes things a little rough), stuff to do pre/post game, it'd be much obliged.

    Thanks,
    Charles

I second JetBlue. Good value and you'll fly into Long Beach where you'll find it's easy to get in and out of. As for hotels, these are nearby the airport and might be considerations.

Holiday Inn Long Beach Airport (562) 597-4401
Long Beach Airport Marriott (562) 425-5210
Residence Inn by Marriott (562) 595-0909

Airport and hotels are right by the 405 which can take you to the stadium.

I was wondering if any of you know what hotel the visiting team stays at when they play the Galaxy. Thanks!

They seem to wind up at the Torrance Marriott but I dunno if that’s a team or league decision so, as the saying goes, “your mileage may vary…”

I’ll “third” that. You could drive from San Fran to the HDC in the time it may take you to fly to and then get out of LAX, especially if the baggage claim system there is it’s usual unruly self.

    Go JetBlue to Long Beach.
