What 15 songs would you want on that single CD? (Note: if you're going to pick In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida length songs, limit it to 10, otherwise they wouldn't fit on the CD.) 1. "Hell's Bells", ACDC 2. Repitition leads to madness, plus if you got off the island you would never want to hear those songs again as they would take you back to your time spent there, thus ruining them forever. The best thing would be not to have a disc and concentrate your time and resources on getting off the island. There is no way that listening to your favourite songs would help either practicaly or mentally. Ditch the disc

If being alone on a desert island for a long time isn't enough to make you want to kill yourself, listening to that CD over and over sure would. Nothing says sunshine and lolly-pops like Fade to Black and Comfortably Numb
Not to mention that if I were stuck on an island with someone who played "There's Only One Way To Rock", even once, I would kill them first, then myself...
I've changed my mind. I want Shiny Happy People by REM on the CD as many times as it will fit. Don't bother sending a rescue ship, it would by waaaay too late.
you nkow of stan getz? daaaaaaaamn. bossa nova guy. good music with joao gilberto from my country, the guy play a good sax. but the guy responsible for joao gilberto to be divorce fro astrud gilberto (the chick that sing 'girl from ipanema'). they had a affari. but still stan getz, good musician. he so relaxing the way he play not like screetchy like david sanborn and stuff like that. i have couple of his music - one a verve jazz classic. other call "the dolphin". man you should listen to "the dolphin". it is GREAT. you would like it i have a feeling. best song on it to me is "the night has a thousand eyes". okay so one cd for me? just one? desert isnald? damn... i don't know.
