    Marketing manager Chris Woerts gaat Feyenoord verlaten. Vanaf de zomer is hij werkzaam als commercieel directeur van de Eredivisie NV. Daar gaat Woerts samenwerken met Alex Tielbeke, die nu nog aan NEC verbonden is. Woerts is vijf jaar bij Feyenoord in dienst geweest. Niet uitgesloten is dat hij nog één dag per week op projectbasis voor Feyenoord werkzaam zal blijven.

    Voorzitter Jorien van den Herik noemt het vertrek van Woerts ‘een onverwacht verlies voor de club.’ De preses wijst er op dat Woerts zeer belangrijk is geweest voor Feyenoord.

    In de nieuwe Feyenoord Krant, die dinsdag verschijnt, is er uitgebreid aandacht voor de ‘transfer’ van Woerts naar de Eredivisie NV.

    =================
    I'm guessing he's leaving for the league offices to be commercial director there.

    Manager of marketing Chris Woerts will leave Feyenoord. Starting this summer, he will be active as commercial manager of the Eredivisie NV. There Woerts will work with Alex Tielbeke, who is now at NEC. Woerts has been at Feyenoord for five years. He will remain on project at Feyenoord for one day per week.

    Chairman Jorien of the Herik called the departure of Woerts ‘an unexpected loss for the club.’ (Not sure about this next sentence)

    In the Tuesday Feyenoord Paper there was extensive attention for the ‘transfer’ of Woerts to the Eredivise NV.

    That's better than I thought. My kid wants to learn Dutch in college. Thinks it would be fun.

    42 with a 14 year old son. Great kid, was a pretty good player till we moved to the frozen north. Crosses with both feet better than Beasley.

    He is pretty smart as well, engineer potential.
