bah... I wouldn' mind seeing Ballon stay with San Martin and play la Copa Sudamericana. After reading a few articles it seems like they want players from "elite" teams because they are presently gargabe or worst ... I think they are going after argentinians that are in teams like Fiorentina, Lazio and Olympiacos F.C....

Re: Transfer Rumours - Part 5

The problem with that is the club is in serious debt... money can come from somewhere, but it ain't showing up yet. And even then River can't afford these names being thrown around.:( And they don't want to return to Argentina. I wouldn't mind Ballon staying in San Martin at all, I was looking forward to seeing him and San Martin in the Sudamericana, but if he has a chance to go to River he is obviously smartly going to take it. Either way, I hope River does well and Ballon has a good rest of the season, whether it be with River or with San Martin. If he doesn't leave now he will certainly leave after the Sudamericana somewhere.

Very good news for River and probably for Ballon too :) Camoranesi's agent has stated Camoranesi wants to join River because he is a fan and wants to establish himself in Argentina, he loves the idea. He will be talking with Pasarella and will join after the World Cup. :) Doubt Cappa will leave now, and Ballon can go to River, especially since they will be even shorter on money with Camoranesi's wages...

at 22 is Ballon better than what Ciurlizza was in 2000(also 22)

since Marko was the best emerging dm in peru in the last 20 years, to me anyway

just a shame he didnt fulfill his potential, is he currently injured or just not used anymore by Alianza

The Danish Superliga aint bad at all, and Copenhagen is a pretty good talent exporter, and a beautiful city too, if he chooses it don't worry, he'll go somewhere good from there and in the meantime would be happy there i would think. Plus the Danish game suits him well and he would be very successful there from what i see, and he would learn a lot. From Peru, you go max to Portugal, from Denmark you go anywhere. I would rather seem him go out now than stay in Alianza, next time he may not get a shot to leave, but it's up to him and.... it may not even be true....

at this point i wouldnt be surprise if he ends up in salertinata... The guy has talent but he does not make the best decisions , furthermore his fitness is always in question ... I think merino is more than capable to play in a competitive league and be an asset for out national team , but he always makes stupid decisions
