    Inter Milan informed about him.

    -------

    I don't believe he's heading for Celtic.

I was just wondering if Kompany was going to move. There has to be some interest in him, even with the $20M tag that's been slapped on him.

If Anderlecht moves Aruna, who plays up front for them? And how much would Wilhelmsson be worth? I'm guessing about $4-$6M, but thast just a guess.

The whole of Europe is interested in Kompany, but nobody has made an offer yet because the price tag is too high. If Aruna moves during winter, they will probably buy another striker, the likes of Sonck, or Arouna Kone from Roda JC. The price for Wilhelmsson should be something like that, although I believe him to be worth more.

I wonder whether the club will stick with the monstrous asking price. Herman Van Holsbeeck may fold if someone comes offering $12 or $15 million. Kompany might be worth that, given the long-term potential he still has.

Agreed. Anderlecht will definitely say yes to 12m even though Kompany is worth much more in the long run. Perhaps if more clubs are in the running they will try to get the most they can.

*A lot of news from Club Brugge. Stoica has been given a free transfer. The Rumanian wonderkid could never live up to expectations. Brugge now is interested in La Louviere players Manaseh Ishiaku (SC) and Michael Klukowski (DL). Both players are very wanted, Ishiaku has even been looked at by Feyenoord. Hans Cornelis will stay untill the end of the season and will get a free transfer, probably to AA Gent.

*Gregory Lorenzi from Mouscron is wanted by Genk and Club Brugge (if they can't get Klukowski).

*RC Genk loses Aaron Mokoena to Blackburn Rovers and they will tranfer Dagui Bakari to the Fenixstadion from Lens.

*Finnish attacker Jari Niemi is moving from Standard to St-Truiden.

*Westerlo are trying to get Lucas Zelenka back from Sparta Praha. The player is very interested.

They should give him a better contract. The move Panic is talking about (Christophe Gregoire) would be to replace Wilhelmsson but I don't really get it. Gregoire is left wing, Wilhelmsson right wing.

*Dario Smoje to AA Gent (didn't this guy play for Milan one season?)

*Brussels will be signing some Brazilians who used to play for national youth teams.

*Club Brugge interested in Aleksander Mutavdzic. Marc Degryse says he hasn't heard a thing from Feyenoord for Simons. They made a new offer for Manaseh Ishiaku.

*Standard interested in Polish Mouscron striker Marcin Zewlakow. They also plan to buy Igor Tudor from Juventus.

*Genk no longer interested in Bakari.

Finally the deal is signed. Hans Cornelis will play for AA Gent next season. They could get the player despite competition from Schalke 04 and RC Genk. Next year they will have a wonderful team:

    -------------------Herpoel (NT)

    Cornelis (21)---De Brul (ex-NT)--Laybutt---Lombaerts (19)

    Cooreman ---------Mamouni--------Martens (ex-NT)

    ----------------------Boussoufa (ex-Ajax and Chelsea, 21)

    -------------------Matthijs (21)------Jbari (ex-NT)

The players I put the age between brackets with are young talents, that have plenty of space to improve. Also a lot of ex-national teamers and a good goalie. Add to this the defending class of Australian Stephen Laybutt, the allroundness of Algerian Maamar Mamouni and the beautiful technique of Dutchie Mbark Boussoufa and you have a great team. Especially with Georges Leekens in charge this might give some fireworks. Also Steve Cooreman is a very underestimated player. His best position is right back however. I'm surprised he still doesn't play for a top team in Belgium. Let's wait and see which other players they will get at the end of the season. When their stadium is finished in a couple of years they should be ready to challenge the top 3.

Last year he was drafted by the MetroStars. He was with the team for the better part of their pre-season. Honestly, I didn't think he would make the team, let alone go onto Europe, but hey he has made greadt strides in Norway, and now he attracted interest from Belgium.

3 million € was too much,
but other teams from Russia and Italy

Genk is interested in Tom Soetaers (Ajax) and N'Kufo (Twente). Chievo Verona wants to approach Koen Daerden. Genk has said 'no' to Lucas Zelenka, who will now try to reboost his carreer at Westerlo or Lierse.

In the meanwhile, Mokoena is still awaiting for his work permit. As soon as that's arranged, he will move to the Blackburn Rovers.
