This was a relatively positive run that we had in the WC and players definitely raised their stock. Which players do you see making moves to bigger clubs?

Apparently Findley already has offers, and I could see him making a move to Denmark or even a lower French side. Altidore has interest from Espaynol, Ajax, and Celtic among others. Torres is said to have suitors in La Liga. Donovan has the noted interest from Man City but I'd rather he goes somewhere with stability. Buddle has interest from Fulham, and I think it's pretty obvious Bradley's stock rose more than anyone. I mentioned earlier that he got offers from the EPL already so expect him to be there. Also, interestingly enough Everton is signing the Slovakia keeper, so does that mean Howard is moving on? Also, Roy Hodgson is rumored to be leaving for Liverpool; would he bring Dempsey with him? I think it's a really exciting time for US soccer in terms of players going abroad.

Donovan to Everton would be sweet
    Dempsey to Liverpool a possibility

Dida is moving on and I heard that Tim Howard is on AC Milans radar.

Now I do not foresee Bradley moving on unless its a better club than he is at now.

Failhaber to La Liga or France would be cool.

    Dolo resigned with 96

Now that Torres, Buddle, and Findley have offers after their world cup performances is mind boggling.

Take Buddle off that last group of guys and I'd agree. Buddle never got a chance to play even after Australia in all Robo Bob's infinite wisdom.

Totally forgot about Feilhaber. He played very well and I can't see him playing in the second Danish division. He'll land somewhere, and he looked very dangerous...I think DaMarcus Beasley might be going to the MLS as well.

Jose Torres may attract overseas interest, and good for him and the USMNT, but I can't see it as a result ofhis World Cup play. He played, by all accounts, a very poor 45 minutes in the Slovakia match and never saw the field for the remainder of the Cup.

Lucky for JFT that professional coaches know what they are doing instead of looking at 45 minutes of poor USMNT play.

Bradley is the only player who might have significantly improved his "stock" in this World cup. Even then, he's already playing on a decent Bundesliga side; not sure he's ready for move to one of the bigger clubs (Arsenal?) where he might be riding the bench too often.

Donovan did not hurt his stock but he pretty much proved his worth at Everton abusing Chelsea and Man U on consecutive weekends.

Didn't he have interest from some lower La Liga sides in January anyway?

This is extremely misleading. This part in an article about the club's players dropping out of the cup was

    Translation:
"(Talk about the already ongoing preparation camp and vacation for Bradley and Matmour) It's unlikely they will take part in the second camp at Saalfelden. We will discuss the scheduling with Michael within the next days. Everyone who knows Michael knows how ambitious he is, and that this defeat will prey on his mind. The Americans hoped to ge deep in their bracket.

Bradley will bring his will to win into Borussia's service again in three weeks."

So these "talks" are just about his vacation schedule.

I'd love to see Bradley at Hamburg, Aston Villa, Everton, Ajax or PSV.

Kid's a big player and deserves a big club.

Ha! I totally read that "resigned" instead of "re-signed". He apparently has as verbal agreement on a two year extension.

I'm confused. Over there we are always told the forum is not about USMNT players but American Citizens abroad regardless of national team affiliation. And this thread is explicitly about the transfer prospects of USMNT players in light of their World Cup performance. I don't want to read about Rossi's transfer possibilities or Sobotic's. So where are we allowed to talk about this subject?

I don't know why everyone was so hard on Torres. He didn't play good but in no way was he that bad. He looked like a young kid that was a bit nervy in his first appearance at a world cup. That's expected and we all know he's better than that.
