At the risk of being a broken record, Tielemans recent injury record is a concern especially given his age.

Missed a lot of games last season with a few different issues (calf, groin) and missed the last WC game with a hamstring injury - so may be a doubt for start of pre-season.

We definitely need one more CM signing.

Darlow confirmed as #12. Santos #17.

Rashford still unconfirmed. #9 is free though worst case.

Lammens #1 pending the Bayındır departure

I dont mind Tielemans, but sounds like we are signing him to a 5 year deal, which is insane for a 29 year old with injury history. Literally breaking all of our own rules here.

James Thwaites is one. He is older than JJ Gabriel, but they played in the same age groups.

There's a rumour he's going back out on loan to Lusanne. His season was disrupted by a bad injury last year [his face or eye socket]

With ugarte out it’d be nice to keep one promising youth and send him on loan in January if necessary.

Almost forgot about him. People once mentioned he is more like Pogba.

No, the way he moves and probably shoot. It was very small sample that I watched like couple of years ago? isn't it ?

Kone is very much supposed to be a 6 - but yes a very bad head injury (fractured eye socket) last season disrupted his year. Went on loan in January to Swiss club Lausanne-Sport for the rest of the season and sounds like that will be renewed for the full year now but not yet confirmed

Just did an Ai search on his injuries and it's not looking promising. Eye socket fracture then he played 134 mins and been injured since. The latest injury is undisclosed? Wtf? Why undisclosed? Seems like he won't make it.

Technically they are no longer in the academy. They've been part of the 1st team since last year.

So, are you happy with Tielemans and Santos or nah? We've all wanted a legit #6 for a long time. It's still the most important target.

Definitely, Pogba was one of a kind. He could shoot, pass and defend when he wants to. Decent header of the ball. On technical level none of the current Spanish midfielders can match him .

That's not the Pogba I remember.

His defensive awareness was average on a good day, and poor on many.

He could be physical in the tackle/tussle, but one could pass around him, or ghost around him with ease.

He was attacking midfielder that was misread too often because he was a physical specimen.
