Depends how in demand he is. He's a very good player. Not 80m pound good, but he belongs at a bigger PL level club I think.

I like him for the right price. He does a little bit of everything and he increases the technical floor of our midfield.
Who is going to pay his wages [were back in CL so something crazy]? No one has any incentive to take him off us. Im sure Villa could use him, but NOT enought to pay half his wages. I thought we'd sell to Arsenal, but the word is we dont want to sell to a rival. Italian clubs cant afford him. Spains best club would rather buy a worsee player for more than double his price. You'll have to accept half his wages paid. The market is probably small, but he did fine at Barca so there's gotta at least be a loan market for him. BUT YOU CANNOT BRING THAT MENTALITY BACK TO THIS CLUB. Especially with Casemiro leaving and possibly Bruno.

Possibly good news. Many players do the one club per country thing but Rashford (& entourage agent / brothers) dont seem to mind pissing of fan bases. Mourinho and Real Madrid are one of the very few clubs able to get anywhere near his wages. Is a slim chance but happy to grasp at straws at this point
Grumpy Jose would be last one to bring stroll Rashford to Madrid. Fans would hate him for his work rate. Madrid fans are super demanding and turn on super quick as well.
Dunno about this one. Barca and Real Madrid are perhaps the only clubs that could force Rashford to apply himself. He did it at Barca, why not Madrid. Of course, highly unlikely they'll go for him anyway, so moot point.
I dont think he did it at Barca, it seems he had the same deficiencies, although he produced on the other end.
Rashford is too lazy to be a starter, but he was factually productive coming on as sub for Barca and scored some key goals. Mourinho tbf identified this with us also - he got criticised for not starting Rashford but Rashford did play and score for Mourinho because he is productive against tired defenders. Mou is the ultimate pragmatic manager. He won't give two sh1ts about getting the right long term signings for Real Madrid, He will be getting them to assemble him a squad he can do things with and to hell with the price / wages (somebody elses problem). He would probably also like the needle it would give the Barca fans to bring on Rashford. Still a low probability for all the obvious reasons, but is one of the few destinations and few managers who may go there. Most likely though we end up with a sulky Rashford or having to pay at least half his wages on loan somewhere.
Mourinho did start Rashford regularly on the left. Lukaku was the main striker and Mourinho didnt like Martial. But that was Rashford before he arrived. That Rashford did work hard. I know we are all on the same page with this one though, we all believe him to Madrid is not likely. But maybe it is, if they sell Vini [which they should do]. I also believe Rodrygo is worth investing in [for Jose or anyone]. Just rambling here, dont mind me.
I might be mis-remembering. I do remember there was a period where the press kept asking Mourinho why he wasn't playing Rashford. Is actually a big part of why it has been so blissful that he was gone for a year - the circus around him from the english media especially is very boring and distracting.
