We need to go get some of those relegated players so we have some depth for next season. I dont understand how only we think we are above buying those players. Maybe find a backup keeper.
One at a time... Exclusive 💣Manchester United officials have made the trip to London today to engage in high-level discussions with West Ham regarding the potential transfer of Mateus Fernandes. This is a significant move, as both clubs are keen to finalize the details. We expect Manchester… pic.twitter.com/Q6kXjZC8nN— indykaila News (@indykaila) June 3, 2026
Barca can feck off.. 2062173573272183196 is not a valid tweet id Any one still fancy Baleba? 🚨JUST IN: Brighton denied a £75M bid for Carlos Baleba last season, he’s currently valued at £40MBrighton have just sacked their sporting director today pic.twitter.com/bAwqcEYCnM— Polymarket Sports (@PolymarketSport) June 3, 2026
At 40m? Hell yes. He may or may not turn out to be that diamond, but he's definitely a 40m and an upgrade for us at that price.
If it's between Fernandes or Baleba, who will you take? not sure Brighton will entertain 40mill offer.
Agreed. At £40 mil, it allows us to either put more money into our main midfield target or look into other positions. But yeah, I thats true.
Westham needs a reality check .. 🚨 West Ham intend to set an asking price of £80m for Mateus Fernandes. #MUFC [@RoshaneSport, @lauriewhitwell] pic.twitter.com/blD8HoPuxg— mufcmpb (@mufcMPB) June 4, 2026
I'd like to see more on Diouf. I think we need a real attacking threat, not just an athlete, but i havent been able to see much. i thought i said his wages were crazy.
Wouldn't be my first choice. Would prefer Welbeck or even Valhovic before Lewa. Id only take Lewa if we're getting desperate.
no they don't. they're just looking for a sucker. no different than chelsea with Mount previously and Fernández now. something United fans know all too well in recent years. i still don't see what Mateus Fernandes offers to make him a must get so this does not bother me at all. true or not
from the strategic guys: https://www.skysports.com/football/...-latest-on-deals-signings-loans-and-contracts i actually like it
Yep, regardless personal views on the new owners and their management team, have to give them props on the initial changes to fix the recruitment messes of the past. Last summer was key to this recent seasons football being watchable. Two well scouted in Lammens and Sesko and two near 'sure thing' EPL proven signings in Mbeumo and Cunha. All at good ages so should be long-term. A repeat to fix the issues elsewhere in the squad and we could be cooking.
So we stick to our guns wrt Rashford transfer fee and Barca. My question is, do we sell to someone else for cheaper? He has two years left on his contract and if we dont get rid, it hurts us i imagine [wages, having him around]. If no one wants to pay the rumored fee, then what do we do?
loan with wages paid by loan club again. the one thing United can't do is have him around the place sulking
Update.. 🗣️ Fabrizio Romano on Manchester United:“Stay tuned, because in the next few days I will bring more information about Manchester United and the midfielders who are on the club's radar. But I can say that they are already working on it behind the scenes.” 👀 pic.twitter.com/gAYgN7FVSB— SimplyUtd (@SimplyUtd) June 6, 2026 🚨 A first unofficial Manchester United MEDICAL for Éderson has already took place with the authorisation of Atalanta. #MUFC [@FabrizioRomano] pic.twitter.com/hklOvm8mX3— The United Stand (@UnitedStandMUFC) June 6, 2026
