Im getting more sold on the rumor for Eduardo Camavinga. I could be wrong, but i dont think he'd be as expensive as the other guys were linked with.

Real don't sell their discarded players cheap. That's the concern.

What if Carrick helps him with his game. The good thing about at Barca he has been conditioned to not staying on the ball too long and opening eyes to teammates.

There's a lot more reasons to get rid of him than keep him.

Aside from his history and that fact that you shouldn't and can't really go back on a divorce ...

Unless you design a system (as we did for a while) where you leave him up for counters (with his pace) and give him a pass on defensive duties then he is totally unsuited to the EPL as a starter. We are not playing that overly deep counter-attacking game anymore. Plus wages and other issues make it not worth it as a sub.

Plus fundamentally he doesn't want to come back and we don't want him.

100% sure the full-backs don't want his lazy ass ahead of them as a starter in this league :)

We don't need toxicity, he can warm Barca bench.

Anyone else think we can't take Bruno staying as a certainty?

He has a £56m release clause active June to mid-July I believe.

Can only go to a foreign club, but if you were say Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid for example would you not want to test Bruno resolve with a bid? Only a few places may be able to tempt him away but that might not be zero.

Is a bargain price for a player of his standing and we would be unable to stop it if someone manages to convince him.

Yup, Madrid would be tempting but can Jose clamp down the toxic locker room? Things can go south, as he would be competing with Bellingham for the advance midfield role and there is evident split and grouping in that dressing room.

Our best hope for Anderson is the rumour that the City verdict will be announced in a few weeks. Plus the related rumour about Pep leaving bc he knows what is coming.

Is grasping a little, 80 / 20 in my mind in favour that they bottle it and let City off with a slapped wrist.

Im not out on Baleba. I feel like some of the critcism is just you guys reading the paper that he wasnt having a good season. Still need his attributes.

    Baleba sub £50m fine.

at £90m+ hell no. underdeveloped and not even a sure starter at Brighton.

    that's the real problem

Yeah, that price tag is crazy. Nothing in that range.

Who are you preferred targets? I assume you also wouldnt over pay for Anderson as well?

You have to be on the Stiller train, just because of the price.

honestly, Sučić, Stiller & Wharton. all are punts to an extent but should be more affordable. i feel am forgetting one or two that aren't immediately coming to mind as well.

against Anderson for what he'd cost. i'm not as impressed with him as most are and i expect him to be in the Baleba range if not higher.

i am also mindful we aren't in the position to spend £250m like before

Yeah but we'll have some cash coming in for Hojlund(€44m) and probably Rashford(€30m) and hopefully Onana(my estimate €12m), Ugarte(€25m), Bayindir(€12m), thats over 120m. Plus unloading wages for Casemiro, Sancho, Rashford. Also, do Zirkzee(€25m) and Mount(€25m) stay?

Why not? Hojlund gone, Rashford n Malacia too, Case Sancho off the wages. Ugarte and Onana will be sold (20 million each? ). If we sell Zirkzee we should be fetxhing some where around £100-120million. Now add CL money plus Adidas 10 million for not missing out on CL. Im not sure how much we will be getting in total for CL but overall 200-250million spending ain't far stretched unless factors which I ain't aware off.

I'd be open for a return by Garner at Everton. For a good price, anyway.

Looking at the soon to be relegated sides and our needs, I think if we want to smart and purchase depth players with proven PL standard we should shop there.

    Forwards

Burnley - Jaidon Antony (26) but 8 goals this season
Wolves - Hwang (30) older but 8 goals again
West Ham - They have a selection of veteran strikers
Bowen (29) 8 goals for the season
Castellanos (27) 5 goals but in 17 games
Wilson (34) 8 goals for the season

I think as a backup to Sesko and someone to mentor Obi we could do worse than this group. I think of all of them Wilson and Hwang would be able to play the weird mentor/challenger role.

    Midfield
James Ward Prowse - WH - adds a FK specialist and a backup 8 to give Mainoo a break

Edson Alvarez - WH - he is the starting 6 for Mexico and a solid option. He is no Casemiro but who is. There will be competition for his signature

Andre - Wolves - 13 caps for Brazil, first choice 6. I think he is an easy pick up

We also have that 17 year old young African kid that should be ready for some tin cup a d mop up duty.

    Defenders
I think we are set at CB and maybe need a FB or 2. We have Diego Luna coming back from loan..

El Hadji Malick Diouf - West Ham - I believe this was the tall fast dude that had Amad in his pocket that one game.

If West Ham go down, I read somewhere they need to raise £100M. I like what Jared Bowen would add for a decent price. Can play up top and on the right and tracks back.
For our midfield, Ellliott Anderson would be the dream signing based on his performances this season and also how he played against us. He posted a couple of cheeky pics on Instagram of him battling Case and Kobbie. It's really up to our board and Wilcox and Chris Vivel to convince him to join us.
Cheaper and good options to add depth to our squad would be Ederson and Mateus Fernandez. Hopefully we can get one of them. Newcastle would be hard to negotiate with but either of Guimarais or Tonali would be great as well if we cannot get Elliott Anderson. Proven prep experience would be a big plus.

Isnt Jarrod Bowen almost 30 already? Aside from that for our right side of our attack, where Bowen plays, we already have two players who are better in Mbeumo and Diallo.

    i don't get it.

clearly almost none of those meet the INEOS criteria. you can say a lot about INEOS and the board but the one thing they have got right so far is the profile of player.

that profile is very clear and it is very clear those are non-starters

Read we are looking at Tonali as well, might cost up to 100million with all the add-ons.
