Andres La pulga Rios joins Atlas, Good player who got injured and wasnt able to display his talents with Toluca but if he doesnt get injured im sure he will do great with Atlas http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...nes-medicos-sera-el-cuarto-refuerzo-rojinegro

Colombian midfielder Vladimir Marin Rios joins Toluca http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/mexico/noticias/2009/07/28/vladimir-fue-presentado-con-los-diablos
Diego Novarreti will finally be able to make his debut, i was wondering why he hadnt played but i never knew that there was problems with his international pass thats why! but anyway im pretty sure u guys can use him specially with the way America broke your defense http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...9/04/la-novela-diego-novaretti-llego-a-su-fin
Israel Lopez released by Toluca, thats weird because he played constantly with u guys http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m...-lopez-busca-equipo-esta-fuera-de-los-diablos
Im a bit surprised too. If he is leaving, i hope it also means Marin is out. I dont like his playing style. Shoots too much, but rarely at goal lol
you'd think marin was tryin to score a field goal rather than a goal with the way he shoots sometimes.
wtf, i did a bit of research and it looks like 2 sites (ESPNDeportes and MedioTiempo) that Manuel "Tripa" Perez is now with toluca but i also see a few other sites annoncing that he is with Indios. wtf? someone please tell me he came to toluca
Chile defender Alexis Osvaldo Gonzales has joined toluca http://espndeportes.espn.go.com/news/story?id=956526&s=mex&type=story
Wow this guy took a 10 percent pay cut in order to join Toluca so best believe that he is going to give it his all , and in this article it also mentions that Cristante was not registered for this season because he wont recover until a few months http://www.oem.com.mx/esto/notas/n1474118.htm
A very solid defender Toluca is getting. Though his preferred pos. is CB, he played a lot of RB last year, specially the 2nd half: la U's starting CBs were Rafael Olarra and Uruguayan Mauricio Victorino during the Clausura, when the latter arrived. Having said that, Osvaldo was probably the best stopper in the Chilean league for the Apertura. He has also been called up regularly by Bielsa, though he never featured during WCQ. For the most part, he was always present when Bielsa worked with the "local" players. Essentially what happened here was that whaveter fee was agreed between Toluca and U. de Chile, 10% was destined for Gonzalez's pockets and he turned it down to ensure he would be transferred. So I guess Toluca only really paid 90% of what was agreed between the 2 clubs. Since Suazo's departure from Monterrey, I think I am gonna adopt Toluca as my new "favorite" Mexican team, considering it has 2 Chileans. Salu2!
Transfers so far Out Defensa José Manuel Cruzalta Morelia Préstamo Medio Álvaro Ortíz Puebla Préstamo In Delantero Emmanuel Cerda Tigres Préstamo
What's the deal with Cerda? Does he create scoring chances consistently? Can he finish? I see he had 6 goals with Tigres.
I dont think he got a lot of playing time. If i remember correctly he was loaned out to some Peruvian team or something like that. He did pretty good over there and upon returning didnt get any real chances. I think even received a call up to the National Team at one point. Seemed to be a fast player, but thats all i remember. I think he might be a bit better than Nava, so theyll be fighting each other for the sub role.
Argentino Juan Cuevas joins Toluca http://www.mediotiempo.com/futbol/m.../juan-cuevas-es-el-ultimo-refuerzo-del-toluca
