We're not out of the woods yet, as it stands we still have Atalanta, Milan & Lazio left to play. A week between games for the players to reflect on games and performances wouldn't be a bad thing. Hopefully some player's realise the output their giving is the quality of a bottom half of the table team and not the illusion that they think they're the quality of a champions league player. However the down side of not performing in Europe will make it harder to sell on these players.
https://www.forzaroma.info/rassegna...pa-e-raspadori-in-uscita-zalewski-ed-hermoso/ Names listed: Devyne Rensch (21), Ajax. Zappa, Cagliari's captain under Ranieri, Enrico Delprato, 25, Parma's captain Possible loan for Raspadori, would be nice
Bove will get an ICD so he's not eligible to play games in Serie A anymore. Which will mean that his contract with us will be terminated and we won't get the sum that Fiorentina would've had to pay us after a certain number of games. This season...
Baldanzi is obviously skilled. But he’s so small he gets manhandled on the pitch. I don’t think Ranieri rates him.
Know any details? I wonder in what way it is removable and what sense it makes? I mean, every ICD can theoretically be explanted. The only "removable" defibrilator I know is a LifeVest. I doubt it's something that allows him to continue playing in Serie A because what would he do? Remove it before every game when the risk of getting arrhythmia is the highest (it would also be dumb as hell if the league's rules allow that)? Probably really just a LifeVest until they've carried out further tests/procedures, maybe ablation. edit: just read that it's a normal ICD that they'd remove at a later point if his condition allows it. But the season is still over for him so he'll be back at Roma in the summer.

Imagine buying Le Fee for 25 milion only to send him on loan somewhere 5 months later. Ghisolfi can pack his bags too.
Le Fee, Soule and Baldanzi have cost nearly 70 million to sit on the bench. Nearly all of Roma’s big signings have been failures the last 5 or 6 years. The best signings have all been free or next to nothing(Dybala, Smalling, Mkhitryan, Svilar, Ndicka, El Shaarawy, Paredes, Angelino.) Kone being one of the few exceptions. Pretty dire.
They’re all good players though. Le Feé needs a moment, Baldanzi has been really good at times, and Soule is very young.
Media says it was myocarditis which is plausible but we know how often medical information is misunderstood by laymen so I wouldn't trust any info but the one directly from his doctors which we won't get.
Le Fee was too expensive. Stick to EPL rejects. They do wonders. With the way Ineos is going at Man U, there are plenty to be had.
Expect some changes in january. https://romapress.net/friedkin-furious-after-romas-defeat-to-como-many-players-to-leave-in-january/
if its same people who run our mercato,I am not positive Right now most important hire for me seems a transfer strategist
What does it matter who comes in? They are fcukign clueless and have created this mess. This statement proves they still have no idea. Theres no structure or project to build on. Bringing in new players now will result in another financial hole a few years down the line. Why has a supposedly component Sporting director got no authority while the Greek pen pusher they eventually fired was given full authority and ran riot. Surely nobody is buying Ranieri's nice company message when he first joined about how passionate the owners are. If they are, they need to step back into reality. Dan never put in the structure needed at board level but for a period him being in Rome along with an authority figure like Jose keep the wheels turning. Its clear he took his eye of the ball completely when they started looking into buying Everton and look whats unravelled inside a year. If he is to recover any trust it will take years and it wont involved throwing money into January desperation signings.
They have no idea who the coach is going to be in 6 months, why spend money on players now? The season ended the moment they fired their manager after 4 games. They aren’t fixing that with a couple panic buys in January. Just play the kids and try not to get relegated.
If it just selling to remove dead weight and meet FFP and we play the kids for the next half a season or longer totally cool with it. would be awesome to have been able to sell califiori for €50 instead of just 1 if he got to play. team isn’t winning EL. And will surely be eliminated from CI by a minnow. no reason not to dump what you can dump
I thought Dybala's hairline was looking well for a man of his age, maybe the new hairband was to get ahead of it like Gervinho? https://romapress.net/dybalas-agent-flies-to-turkey-to-meet-with-galatasaray/ https://romapress.net/galatasaray-offer-paulo-dybala-contract-worth-e10-million/
Dont try and do Alain Delon jr like that. He's just been growing it longer and it starts to get in his way during the match. Turkey at his age is still a massive let down to finish out his career. Its a shame what this year has turned into and we are not able to see him at his best. He deserved a better sent off than this mess.
I feel like all this recent talk is more newspaper gossip than reality... I could see someone like Dybala leaving given his salary and lack of contribution this season but I don't buy the idea that there are clubs interested in taking Mancini, Pelle, Cristante etc with the wages they earn here For me there is some credence to the idea that those guys are all the supposed leaders of this team, but they fail to transmit a strong mentality to the rest of the squad--Pellegrini is introverted and feels the pressure too much, Mancini has a big mouth but doesn't back it up with his play... these guys need to know theyre on the chopping block and could end up at other teams where they don't get the benefit of their history with their club I think they realised these mistakes when appointing Ranieri imo, his future role as a director and Ghisolfi's now more public role seems to indicate a shift in priorities and a general shift away from the senatori players to Ranieri as the true senator of the club going forward--it gives some legitimacy and accountability to the idea that the Friedkins are interested in Roma in the long term... I guess time will tell I feel like the Friedkin's were doing a decent job until De Rossi's sacking which is what really brought in the rot--they didn't learn from Mourinho's time that De Rossi couldn't be the only one facing the media all the time in the same way Mou was, even less so given DDR's less influential role at the top of the management structure leading to Soulokou having too much power and the subsequent friction
Youre laying out exactly why the rot was already out of control before his sacking. That was just the inevitable outcome of what was boiling away behind the scenes. She had her nose out of joint for months over his appointment to begin with and there was tension in the transfer window which she had a lot of control over. Its easy to get excited about relatively expensive signings coming in but it was out of character and made no sense to me at the time. Soule was a Roma signing the year before straight out of Juve u23's and a player we sell for 30 million. The squad should have been filled with 5-8 hungry cheaper signings. Totti even said it would not have been his strategy for what the squad needed. I am sure DDR was seeing the same thing. Ranieri in all seriousness should steady the ship. Home form alone should be enough and if they can at least hold for draws away they will be well clear of the drop by the end of the season but there is a tough run of games coming. It would not be the ending fitting for Ranieri to see Roma relegated. Moving him upstairs is a good play. If I had a say I would be advising the owners at all costs to bring back Walter to work alongside Ranieri in a similar office role and mentor to Ghisolfi. While at the same time bringing back DDR. You have 2 young guys learning from 2 old heads while having stability from the pitch to the office. Not business person is going to rule over men like Ranieri and Walter. Imagine getting to work alongside those 2 everyday, the amount Ghisolfi could pick up alone would be very valuable. The narrative the management can use to bring back the fans onside, even if its not true, they can run with it. They decided not to bring DDR back as it was too much of a moment to throw him in but now the structure is in place with these 4. That is a way for the management to quickly win the fans back over. Ok this season was a total mess, we hold our hands up but now we can move ahead and actually start bringing in a project.
