If we want to keep good players and sign good players. We need to qualify for CL. Abraham's 40m signing IMO was a big mistake, that money could have gone on 2 - 3 players for 10-12 m elsewhere. You don't sign players from Premier League, because they tend to be overpriced.
That was an investment, EPL teams pay crazy money to buy back them like Sancho he is leaving after this season no matter how, lets hope Dybala brings out his best in coming months and we get 60-80m back from him.
Zaniolo will go to an EPL club, flop, then go on loan with option to buy at Juve next season then be a staple for them.
Nicoló Zaniolo won’t be called up for AS Roma next game against Spezia, @SkySport reports. 🚨🟡🔴🇮🇹Roma consider Zaniolo available on the January market — fee could be around €40m. Tottenham already had talks with player’s agent, there are more clubs interested. pic.twitter.com/a0bSkmAzHz— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 20, 2023
40 milion would be a lot of money for a player who hasn’t shown anything for a long time. Take it and run!
Mourinho baffled by Zaniolo's decision to bow out of Spezia clash https://t.co/2KnFx3odJg— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) January 20, 2023
Losing Zaniolo for 40 mil wouldn’t be the worst thing. He doesn’t combine well with his teammates. He’s got a bit of a park player in him. Get the ball, go to goal, and take your shot.
Reports suggest that Roma are looking at Aouar. Even Frattesi would be a good buy and is a player better suited for Roma's style
Hope he goes somewhere where referees don't allow him to be assaulted all match and he can rediscover form to help Italy going forward. Going to suck seeing him wearing stripes in a few years though.
I don't see Chelsea using their buy-back clause of 80 m to buy Abraham back. I hope they are stupid to do it.
I read with finances they needed to sell to get Auour in. He will be the biggest add to the midfield in terms of making a midfield with some ability to link to the attack. As things stand with the current problems with team play. Moving Zaniolo to bring him in gives them a better chance of making Champions league. Its a good play.
He would be able to replicate what Miki was for us last year. For 5m we should do it and he is only still 24.
https://romapress.net/udineses-gerard-deulofeu-rumored-as-zaniolos-replacement/ I like this player a lot. Deulofeu and Aouar pls!
Not now but I'm pretty sure they would've bought him back if his form didn't drop this season. They're in dire need of a proper striker.
In the Capital gains investigations, Roma and Milan could also be at risk, in addition to Sassuolo and Atalanta (Milan for the Caldara-Bonucci exchange and Roma for Pellegrini-Spinazzola). The hearing takes place February 22nd. [Libero]— Italian Football News 🇮🇹 (@footitalia1) January 22, 2023 I won’t be surprised, we all thought the numbers were fishy when the deal happened. Pellegrini was promising at the time but his career since the deal makes it look much worse than it was. The 29M for Spina looked like a bargain just before he tore his achilles. Unless they have records of wrongdoings beyond the deal numbers, I don’t think Roma is at risk but I could be wrong.
