Incredible job by Pinto this summer. Hats off to him! In January now we go get Solbakken and Gini comes back. That will be one hell of a squad. Only thing left to be desired is CB depth.
Teams like Arsenal and Barcelona have had great windows but they've also spent a net £95m and £114m respectively...Roma meanwhile have added Dybala, Belotti, Wijnaldum, Celik, Matic and Svilar whilst making a £35m profit.Oh and they are now top of Serie A... pic.twitter.com/ZShfBlXHtU— Dougie Critchley (@DougieCritchley) August 31, 2022 Indestructible in the mud
Pinto has put the nail in the coffin for all you Pallotta dickheads.... Apologies will be accepted. I and maybe one or two others knew this was all possible with sensible management.
In terms of numbers, this might be in the top windows ever. The amount of planning they done throughout last season to nail this
Tiago Pinto: "The team is stronger today following the transfer window, but the most important thing is Mourinho’s leadership which has allowed our players to grow.”https://t.co/Jy5Wtjj5pp https://t.co/Jy5Wtjj5pp— RomaPress (@ASRomaPress) September 2, 2022 We have Mourinho and you don’t.
Top 4 and a trophy is a must after such a great market, hats off to Pinto and the Mou effect. Commentators kept putting us as a dark horse for the scudetto, maybe I've been a Roma fan for too long but I don't see it. What's everyone else's thoughts on challenging for that title?
I'll only start thinking about the title if we're like 20 points ahead of 2nd with less than 10 games to go. Until then, all I want is top 4.

📉Capitolo #FFP: #ASRoma ha lavorato per trovare un accordo con #UEFA. Il club pagherà 5 mln di multa. If we don’t stay within whatever parameters were set we can be fined another 30m.

What a great market ? you guys just spend on free players I read that you guys basically have to recruit free players / sell players first before buying for the next 2 and a half season. I don't know if Mourinho could be okay with it , he might have left already before the sanction over. Although there is fun fact. The last time jose mourinho has a negative net spend , he won the league. ( At Chelsea)
So if we spent 20m for Dybala and 20m for Belotti would it be better than getting them for free in your mind?
Any lesser manager and those 2 ain't coming to UEL club struggling with ffp no chance in hell .freidkin masterstroke was to convince Mourinho to came in , nobody can say else. Although i am not sure whether Mourinho already know about this ffp situations when he first came.
No other top manager would have accepted a job in trophyless club under FFP, and demanding fanbase ( like you guys wouldn't accept top 6 right now and already put pressure for top 4 , even scudetto ) , look at conte crying for more signing despite himself spent no less than 200m , look at pep spending no less than 100m every transfer , these people won't come to struggling club like roma to ruin their cv
