Leipzig wants 55/60 milion for Nusa. Not happening either I guess. The market is ruined. Just focus on young unknown talents.
Can't stress this enough. Leipzig are rumoured to want 50-60m for Nusa, a guy who had a G+A total of 7 in his best season. It's nice that the Friedkins are willing to splash such sums but we'd be better off searching for players in the 20-30m region. Everyone who cost us more in recent years has been a flop anyways. It's a position where Pellegrini started last season, almost every natural LW will be an upgrade.
It is July 23 and we have renewed 3 players and made no signings. They are making a mockery out of this transfer window.

Tresoldi would have been much much better as Malen's backup. I also wonder why we are not after Godts?
Tresoldi should still be the one. They want 40+, then just get it done and stop haggling over 5 million for this guy.
I seen 40 + bonuses. Is that what youre counting or 50 + bonuses? I wish we were in a richer position because this kid is the one.
We need someone like him, more than any other position. Someone who can spot, what no one else can spot.

Why are we paying 35 million for a striker who scored less than 20 goals in 3 seasons of Serie A? Am I missing something?
Yes the overall fee is a little steep I would say but that's partly the market. First he's only 21. 20 goals in 2 and half (not 3) seasons and a Coppa win is not a bad return at all in a new country and a tough scoring league, for a younster. This kid (from what I've seen) undoubtedly has the potential to be a very good player. Happy with the signing and look forward to seeing how he progresses. We're still crying out for that LW starter so this move is probably not getting as enthusiastic a reception as I think it merits.
We needed a backup to Malen. Dobvyk is a lump of shit and Vaz still doesn’t have control over his legs. We also gave Dobvyk to Bologna for 3m plus they are paying all of his wages. All in all this operation saves us money. If they buy Dobvyk for 20m it’s even better.
One can hope. I was looking at Retegui's numbers he scored just 7 goals in 2023–24, but after moving under Gasperini in 2024–25, he exploded for 25. Hopefully the same kind of development happens here. He's still young, so there's plenty of reason to believe he can improve.
I think Castro is a great signing. He's going to be much more than coverage for Malen. Gasperini loves to go with a two up top during many matches, Castro will be what Vaz was brought in for. Youngest player in Europe's top five with at least five left foot, right foot, and header goals.
