Almost June 6th and we still don't have a sporting director. I thought Tony D'Amico would be announced by now.
Partially yes but if evidence was as strong as initially suggested then they could have proceeded even without a key witness in this case as they would factor in the intimidation factor. What caused them to drop it after many months long investigation was new evidence that came to light, hence why in the end I dont think it was as clear cut as it first seemed. I think this was such a high profile public case, I dont believe they could have let him away with it. Is he a low IQ entitled scruff whos blessed to be good at football. There no doubt yes, but a total monster, I dont think so but he will always have a cloud hanging over him from now on and maybe thats his karma. Manchester is full of little council estate chavs who walk around town with neck warmers covering their face trying to intimate as wannabe bad men. That would have been his future. The question is does his football value outweigh the baggage he brings and thats really not an easy answer because he is extremely good at winning games for his team.
The only thing I care about re Greenwood is that, whatever happens, it doesn't drag on insufferably for fcking weeks.
Early reports Al Hilal have entered with a 120 million bid but remains to be seen. Tbh thats closer to his real valuation than 40 million in todays market.
#BorussiaDortmund have shown interest in #ASRoma’s winger Matias #Soulè. #Roma ask 40M to sell him. #transfers— Nicolò Schira (@NicoSchira) June 10, 2026
For the longest time I thought either Kone or Ndicka was going to be sold first, but now it seems Soulé might be sacrificed.
Since Greenwood has been a serious consideration its seemed that way. A shame one of them wasnt gifted on the left because that would be serious talent to go ahead with on the wings. Soule is a great player but for Greenwood's talent, then its a yes to that sale overall. Out of all of Englands so called new golden generation, I think he is the legit most talented of the lot. That leaves Soule on the bench where he is too good for and Roma are not at the level to have 2 players of that level competing for one spot yet.
We paid 30 milion for Vaz and Marseille still demand the full price for Greenwood. The audacity. Give us a discount.
Friedkin not bending to ffp. Bravo. If Roma fail to meet UEFA's Settlement Agreement targets, Calcio e Finanza reports the club could face:💰 €10-12m fine📋 UEFA squad reduced from 25 to 22 playersA ban from European competitions is considered unlikely.https://t.co/qlQgr73Tn2— AS Roma Daily (@asromadaily1927) June 29, 2026
The restrictions of the settlement agreement that would've been lifted after this season will just drag on and they'll eventually comply next year when the fine's going to be withheld CL money or exclusion. If we achieve another top 4 finish it's probably the right move to pay the fine, keep the top players for another year and make the necessary sales next year. Otherwise not so much.
Could be, if it happens. As for the so called 'baggage' he brings with him? He wasn't convicted of anything so his relationship with his missus, past and present, is not my business. As a Roma fan, what would be my business, is his attitude on the pitch and how he performs on it. That's all I'd care about.
Saying we are awaiting selling Dovyk to buy Tresoldi. Maybe moving to Italy will also get him to play for Italian National Team
Ive said it for over a year now. If Italy were not backwards Tresoldi would already be locked down to be Italys number 9 for the next decade. Always keep an eye out for Club Brugge when they make major investments, they are looking for their next big flip and he delivered faster than anyone could have imagined. Dream signing.
