What are you lol'ing about. He accepted their offer, he said goodbye, he was going. Roma pulled the pin because of a ridiculous offer.

Multiple sources have stated that Dybala was never fully convinced to leave.

Roma have finalized the agreement with Al Hilal for Saud Abdulhamid and now the player is ready to fly to Italy.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Abdulhamid has received the green light to travel from Al Hilal.
The player will land in Italy on Monday at Fiumicino Airport at 14.40 CEST with a flight from Riyadh.

I have read this. For sure its true that he may have never been fully convinced about out there from a footballing and lifestyle choice but after must deliberation he did accept their wage offer. It was stated that Roma flat out rejected the transfer offer. If you were in charge of Romas assets you would do the same unless you fancied your head on a stake by the evening. 3 million for Dybala? plus bonuses he may even never activate if he got an injury. The story now it was all his doing, it doesnt make sense given the timeline of events and it seems like nice PR. You guys are easily mislead.

De Rossi's words today, Dybala is a member of the squad and he will be treated like every other player. It was DDR's right to build the team as he saw fit and he was prepared to sacrifice Dybala to bring in his vision. Not that I fully agreed with that but I understand it. To get the best out of him you have to give him the keys and set the team around him.

At least initially, they will attempt DDR's football and he will have to fit into it. Im happy enough to see him stay and do this. If DDR's vision doesnt work out as the season progresses, DDR may show himself to be smart enough to be willing to adjust the tactics and go back to making everything centre through him. If they have to scrape the barrel now to bring in a few pieces, Im good with that as we have Dybala secured and hopefully with a new deal being worked on as we speak.

    7 days left.

    Best case scenario =

Abraham, Smalling, Shomurodov, Zalewski and Karsdorp out.

Danso, Koné, Abdulhamid and Boga in.

Seen reports Zalewski rejected PSV.... Shame as it would've been a good move for the lad

We need West Ham to buy Tammy now

Sounds like Danso will be a loan. Hopefully that means whatever cash is available is going towards Kone.

We need Kone. Anyone. Less playing time for Cristante.

Frattesi-Cristante swap makes no sense, what do Inter get out of it? No money and Cristante on the same wage?

Lol, Dybala might've just ruined Roma's season by ruing the transfer plans.

Danso seems all but done from Lens, strong pacey defender that we need if we're going to play a high line

Abdulhamid is official, i'm hopeful with him because he actually has pace, sometimes I think this is all we need on the flank as Celik often gets into good overlapping positions but then doesn't have the pace to kill the other team and make the positioning count

If we have pace on the wing and can stretch opponents then there will be space in the middle for Dovbyk, Soule etc to take advantage of... Soule can't do much without a fullback overlapping as he likes to cut inside and shoot

I would like to see Dahl get some games as he has pace and we need it on the wing, Angelino has been dissapointing so far

Damn it. West Ham will sign Abraham on loan with option to buy.

I think we are quite there already.
DDR just needs guts to play Bove and Pisilli.
Cristante is fine if not playing together with Paredes, we need damn energy.

get a young left winger and we are ready.

latest rumour is negotiations have reopened with Milan for a swap deal, tammy for saladmaker + cash

this would solve a lot of problems, we get a left winger and maybe enough money to bring in Kone or another midfielder

    also...

Can only speculate as to why exactly we'd be willing to offload Bove as reports suggest. Purely financial? Players wish? I don't know. On the surface of things at least, it just doesn't make much sense to me. What I do know is that he has been under used since DDR took over.....and it's not like he's trying to nudge ahead of top class players.

I just think Bove is the only one with a concrete offer and he’s not a starter, a victim of the fact that they are chasing another profile for midfield with only a few days left in the window

looks like this might happen shortly, good deal imo, saladmaker played as a left sided winger last season for the first time and did very well (plus he can cover right wing, he’s played as a wing back before too)

10 from Tammy plus his wages off the books & 10 from Bove will bring us the midfielder they want

Saelemakers is a decent player. He made a difference for Bologna last season so I'm sure he can offer us something.
