Assignon is more suited to the formation and cheaper, I read a worrying stat about Pubill who, while being solid defensively, has about the same cross accuracy as Celik

Solbakken & Kumbulla both rumoured to join Empoli (on loan), Shomurodov might join Atlanta Utd today/tomorrow (last day of MLS transfer window) & Tammy being linked with West Ham

Shomurodov leaving saves 9 million on the balance sheet (7 mill in amortization + 2 mill in wages) which makes space for a signing at right back

If they still haven't closed Assignon/another RB with a week left till the opening game they are holding out for someone... Bellanova is allegedly unhappy at Torino because he's wanted to join Roma since before the Euros...

    No Shumo no Tammy?
Who gonna be the sub ST?
Not comfortable to have Dybala only as false 9

No idea but 2 weeks ago after the Olympiakos game De Rossi said he expects 'other strong players' will arrive and has spoken since about needing a full back, midfielder and a 'tall winger', we've only signed Dovbyk since then so I think they need to move some players before they can close other signings

I'm sure they have a list of strikers they want, the Dovbyk signing came out of no where and was completed in 3 days so they have the ability to move quickly in the right circumstances, let's wait and see...

Bro said we need players like Gervinho and now he's getting the one. Everytime Boga faced us, he was brilliant. Maybe I am wrong but he was just doing literally anything he wanted.

Apparently Dybala to Saudi looking like it might happen. I’m on the fence, and it all depends on the money involved. The release clause expired, so I’d hope it’s a high transfer fee. This would let us play Baldanzi in the middle and probably make way for Chiesa and a RB or backup ST.

What the hell is the point of bringing Soule who wanted to play with Dybala and then selling off Dybala? Seems like the biggest boneheaded move you can possibly make. And 3 days before the season starts...

I'll believe the Dybala rumours when I see him leave, otherwise it's just the same speculation we get with him every summer before the season starts

All this because after the Everton game De Rossi said he wants to rotate the team more and no one is unsellable? So Dybala doesn't want to be rotated when he is injury prone and can't play 90 minutes two games in a row? Doesn't make sense to me...

He flopped at Atalanta but he got 6 goals and 6 assists last season for Nice, Serie A experience etc.

Not a bad profile but not of the same quality as players like Chiesa, Nusa, Galeno

If the money is good, selling Dybala now is the 100% correct move

Once he plays 14 games this year his contract automatically renews at 7 mill per season... makes you wonder...

He’s lost his spot in the Argentina team, so he may be ready to just cash in at this point. Shame.

Hope he stays, but him leaving does bring more flexibility. You really are limited in how you set up the team when he’s in the 11.

I believe Friedkins know what they are doing, logically speaking why would they want to ruin perfect summer with that decision and sell their best player when they want to build something big here. Club never sell their key man unless transfer fee is out of market and/or in our case Chiesa arrives (or someone of Paulo's calible). Also. for me, Soule is really Dybala regen and have talent to make a difference, but also way too risky to depend on him all season.

If the clause of 14 games and 7 million is true, at most this would happen before first half of season is finished and I don't believe that we can't afford to pay our best player that money for several months. His contract is valid until next summer, it will be only six or seven months, what's the problem.

Dybala is said to earn 6m already. 7m (+ another 1m in bonus according to some sources) after the next 14 games. That's as much as Dovbyk, Le Fee and Soule together. I'd pay it if he was the missing piece to get us the scudetto but right now we're not in a situation where this is smart business. Especially after having secured his successor already. I don't have a problem with him staying just for the sake of watching that offensive line but i fully understand if they want to get rid of him.

Dybala is arguably 2nd most talented player to ever play for this club. To see him go now and not witness this attack at the end of the window would be classic Roma. I would rather they made this decision at the very start of the window and got it done so theres not the same biter taste.
Dybala is a player I would take a financial hit for even for 20 games a season considering the amount they have pissed away on wages for others of no note.

If this team is fresh and they fire early, then he is the difference between them being a solid Europa league side and them getting top 4 comfortably. Drop the seriousness they commit to EL and who knows what league run can unfold.

these don't mean he won't leave though... I think he's saying Roma will need to recieve a significant offer for Dybala to leave at this point in the window... like 30 million
