    Dybala/Soulé/Baldanzi/ Solbakken. 4 players for 1 spot!

Dovbyk was one of the most sought out strikers this transfer window. Great signing

but Solbakken is a left sided winger… Dybala can play striker… Soule can play winger or 10 (same for Baldanzi)

there are ways to use them, plus De Rossi says they still want to sign another left sided winger

Also, Tammy and Karsdorp linked with Milan today… Fonseca is a true Romanista!!

Think when everyone is fit, Dybala and Dovbyk will play in the middle, and Pellegrini will play on the left like he did for Italy. I would much rather SES on the left instead, but there’s no world where Pellegrini or Cristante sit on the bench unfortunately.

    Dovbyk
    Pellegrini-Dybala-Soule
    Paredes-Cristante
    Angelino-NDicka-Mancini-Celik

Defensive phase likely looks like this
    Dovbyk-Dybala
    Angelino-Pellegrini-Paredes-Cristante-Soule
    NDicka-Mancini-Celik

Realistically though, Dybala will be injured a lot so likely to see Pellegrini, Soule, Baldanzi, and SES playing multiple positions. Dovbyk is the only one who will play one position.

    Dovbyk
    Chiesa - Dybala - Soule
    Paredes - Le Fee
    Angelino/Dahl - N'Dicka - Manco - Pubill

We need Chiesa on that left wing, its his main position and we need him like air. He ticks all the boxes for DDR like Soule. Inverted winger who cuts inside and creates opportunities. He will be the icing on the cake. And I don't want to see Pelle and Cristante on the pitch anymore. We didn't splash the cash on new faces to watch them play on our nerves again.

Ghisolfi is in Spain to try the finalize Dovbyk.

Also rumored that Roma will sign a right back and left wing next. Crazy summer. Only position after that, that worries me is CB. Mancini and NDicka are good starters but a broken Smalling and Kumbulla as back ups is worrying. Llorente was such a rock in that 3rd CB role.

Agreement for Dovbyk - 33-34m plus bonuses plus 10% sell-on clause.

There is talk about Tammy to Milan (Sky source) and possibility of Dybala to be tested on False 9. In this case at least two more players should come and perhaps we will hit 100m until at the end of August.

Finally, we are acting like a big club and signing players who have just come off a brilliant season, u know what I mean? like Arsenal signing Calafiori, United signing Yoro. Always wanted to see this attitude from Roma and now I see it.

Really does feel like the start of a new project with all these signings, last time we spent like this was when Mourinho joined

Happy with Dovbyk, Soule and Le Fee.

Not sure about Dahl but I guess Angelino will continue to be a starter.

Now we need a left winger and a rightback!

Someone like Jeremie Boga would be perfect. Fast and good dribbling.

If we are lucky enough to sell Abraham, guess we can give a chance to Shomurodov as sub of Dovbyk

Shomurodov got messed around badly. He would be a good squad player and more than capable if given a chance.

Inter looking rid of Correa and Lazio trying to get him on a bargain. Would be nice to stick it to them. He would be a starter on the left wing for Roma. Good player, just too many alternatives at Inter.

Pleasantly surprised with our market so far. I didn't expect this kind of spending, at least not without more sales first. We still need another left wing and a RB and possibly another forward depending on what happens with Tammy/Shomorudov. I second your CB concerns though. This position looks very hairy depth wise at the moment. How are we going to cover the above and this CB concern also is the question. Smalling cant be relied upon to stay fit for long periods and Kumbulla's usefulness is a major question mark at the moment.

What do you guys think of Bellanova?

I think he would be a great fit, especially the way DDR wants to play. He's quick and can actually cross a ball (imagine a guy who can cross paired with a strong header like Dovbyk) but I worry he's not worth the 20 million Torino a rumoured to be asking for...

I worry when you take a player like this at 20 million who will want 2-3 million a year in wages... its a big commitment because if it doesn't pan out it's very difficult to get rid of him

I'm slightly skeptical of the fee for a guy who shines in 3atb and that appears to be not the system we're looking to play in general.

Looks like management thinks the same. This would be a big pick up. De Rossi definitely can’t complain about not being supported.

My worry is that there will be a big gap between him and Mancini. RB likes to stay high, he's great at it. But when that counter hits, Mancini will be left to dry more often than not.

If he signs, I'd like to see what DDR chooses to do
