While we have some free time let's get this going

Here's a few players/roles in the top three most urgent areas when considering loans and player aging:

    Calafiori (CB)
I'd love to see Chiesa, but realistically speaking, a strong LW
CF. Zirkzee is everyone's dream, but given this is real life, I hope Abraham has a great comeback. Lucca's interesting. Pinamonti is quite flat, I don't think he is next level material. You know better than I do with the good names out there.

If De Rossi stays I'm curious to see what he can do with Kumbulla when he comes back, in which case along with Mancini, N'dicka and Llorente we're set for next season if we continue with a back 4

We desperately need a right back though and Kayode from Fiorentina looks like a decent prospect along with Dodo.

For the CF position it's hard to say.... I reckon Lukaku will leave and then it's a case of seeing if Tammy can come back (again I think with DDR he can be another monster). I really like Azmoun as well, I think if he played more regularly he could have a decent goal output for us.

If Tammy can get a few goals in before the close of the season I think the club will just bet on him for next season to be honest.

The one player I would love for us to take is Colpani from Monza, he's a real baller who would fit in well with the technical football we're playing. He can beat his marker consistently, has pace and can spot a through ball.

Sadly I've only seen him play on the right side where we already have Baldanzi and Dybala.

Folorunsho would be a nice pick up too for the midfield, however I think Napoli own his card. One thing we need is someone with a similar skill set to Paredes who can rotate with him.

If there isn't a PL team paying stupid money for Tammy we don't really have a choice but to have him be our starting striker. It's risky but he was too expensive to dump him now after his value has plummeted. One proper season and he's worth 40-50m again. I also wouldn't mind keeping Azmoun as a backup, starting to like him.

Apart from that I think the squad is good as it is. Realistic wishes would be:
    - make Angelino's and Llorente's moves permanent
    - get an LB backup (with Angelino as the stater) if Spinazzola asks for too much on his next contract
    - Back-Up or starting LW
    - Maybe a back-Up for Paredes but hard to find someone who's willing to sit on the bench and do a much better job than Cristante there

I don't see much room for Zalewski in a 4-3-3 unfortunately but I'd like to see Bove start more often. Paredes and Cristante are just so fckin slow and I'm sure we would be less prone to counter attacks with Bove instead of Cristante.

If Roma get CL and Sassuolo go down I would make Berardi #1 target. Been fortunate that Dybala has only had minor injuries this year, next season may not be as lucky. Berardi would at least somewhat fill that void. And when everyone is healthy Dybala, Berardi and Pellegrini in attack would be a nightmare to defend against.

Midfield has improved a lot under DDR but I still think it’s the area that needs the most work. It doesn’t seem like Man United are going to sign Amrabat permanently, he would be the dream. May be could bundle Belotti in a deal.

RB has also been a black hole, but don’t see too many great options there that Roma could afford.

Keep forgetting this but we have a lot of wages off the books at the end of the season (Rui & Spina + Lukaku) that would allow for a big signing

Plus Belotti, Celik, Eldor, Solbakken & Darboe are likely to be sold

Berardi will be coming off another Achilles injury, I don't think he's back till October so wouldn't even be able to start the season/train with the team over the summer

    Is this true?

Just thinking about how the name De Rossi rhymes with Messi. I guess we can still indulge in a little daydreaming, right?

Selling him when he is finally playing the best football of his career sucks, but its typical Roma.

I would replace him with Joey Veermen, no idea for how much but should be much cheaper than Pellegrini.

He’s one of the only players with value left in the squad. Likely selling him is the only way Roma pass FFP this summer.

I would rather sell the likes of Aouar,Llorente, Celik,Smalling,Zalewski or Possibly Ndicka with 2 primavera players like Costa or Pagano

Eldor has been doing great lately for Cagliari, he will probably attract some offers this summer.

Darboe has been a revelation at Sampdoria, I’ve been following him since he arrived there last February and he helped them reach the playoff spots for now. Even had some great goals and assists too.

Kumbulla played a total of 20 minutes at Sassuollo, looks like 27M down the drain.

Huijsen has talent but he's young and seems to me too cocky for his own good right now......and he's a stripe. That play yesterday was vomit inducing. Second big mistake from him. Decision to start him in the centre of a back 3 wont go down as DDR's finest moment.

20 mins for Kumbulla at lowly Sass wasnt exactly the gameplan when sending him out. Disappointing.

Interesting re Darboe. Another ACL case. Looked like he had a bit about him when he got some minutes here.

Real shame with Kumbulla, he looked like a stud at Verona. Juve and Lazio also wanted him.

If Llorente is made permanent, should be good at CB next season anyway. NDicka and Mancini as starters with Smalling and Llorente to rotate is likely enough. May be could pick someone up from one of the relegated teams for peanuts for one more body if needed.

Theres no point selling kumbulla for peanuts. He's still young and the talent didnt evaporate. Bring he back and incorporate him back into the squad and revive his career starting with filling in cup games, europa leagues games, etc. After a slow start with Jose he was starting to make an impact and then got injured. He's simply never recovered a run of form since that. I'd be patient with him for 1-2 more years and let his value increase. 6 good months can make a big difference.

If Allegri is gone, I think Chiesa stays.

As well, the Olimpico pitch isn't the greatest when compared to other pitches (additional wear because Lazio also play on it and they even had the Rugby NT play on it). Chiesa checks the pre-requisite boxes of Roma acquiring injury-plagued players so there's that but the player may want to not risk it. Was also the pitch where he tore his AC (Mattia Di Sciglio late winner game after Pellegrini missed a PK).

Nacho is leaving Madrid on a free this summer. He’s always linked with Roma every summer.

Bit old but so long as DDR doesn’t switch to a high line, likely could get a good year out of him still.

No idea how Chiesa works financially but more rumors of a move. Allegedly he’s already spoken with De Rossi. His contract expires in 2025 so Juve have to sell him now if he isn’t going to re-sign.

Dybala in the hole with SES and Chiesa on both sides of him will wreck most teams in Italy.

If we can raise the necessary funds with a Tammy Prem sale (like I'm sure was supposed to happen last season) that would be ideal

(Not talking about Chiesa, just the funds we have to generate before June 30th or whatever date it is)

Chiesa was absolutely on fire last night against Roma. I think he is just destined to a bigger club
