@4x4s, I tried to tell you selling shirts was a sticking point. If Falcao sold shirts like James we'd have already signed him.

 

I would not trust what that Carpio guy from Marca is saying, this guy was the one who called the club liars and said his sources confirmed to him that Bale had a hernia.

 

There are now multiple sources in Spain saying we said no. Including Manu Sainz who is Mendes's puppet.


I still think we're going to buy him.

Chicharito is on the market by Man Utd. Plus he is marketable in Mexico.

I honestly wouldn't mind Bacca from Sevilla as well. The one who scored twice against us in March. He'd be a good option to come off the bench and start some lower liga team games.

Those are just 2 guys we wouldn't have to pay much and could get rid of in 2 years.

Maybe Carlo put his foot down finally and said no to Falcao when we have Benz. Plus Jese's agent came out and said he was coming back in October today.

 

Come on now, I'm certain that selling shirts is not the only criteria for a transfer target. Besides, Falcao would sell shirts.

Honestly I don't think anyone has a clue as to who we want and Florentino is just facking with all of them lol

To one person he's like yes we signed Falcao and to another he's like naa we ain't interested.

The window is closing, I just hope we sign a striker but not Negredo, yuck.

 

I think the Negredo one might be legit, Florentino possibly found out we need a minimum number of homegrown players for the CL.

 

I thought Man City had to get rid of one foreign player because they could only register 17.

Plus we just got rid of a Spanish player so buying Negredo makes sense, instead of Falcao who would also take up a non-EU spot if we decide on Vidal (or Gustavo).

 

Selling shirts (big image) is the criteria for us to spend that amount. If it isn't show me the player we paid a huge amount for that, that wasn't the case.

Negredo just isn't good enough, I mean if he was then why the hell did we sell him in the first place?

Man I'm going to be having nightmares tonight of us signing Negredo and sending Isco over to City, it would be a downright shittastic ending to a terrible transfer window for us.

 

We had Higuain then. I don't rate Negredo highly either, but not bad as a back up.

 

We sold him in 2009 when we had a plethora of strikers in our team. A lot has happened since then including him proving himself in La Liga with Sevilla.

I think he would be a great addition as a squad player who can get some starts when we need to punish Benz or give him a rest.

 

Negredo just doesn't convince me as a starter or backup, imagine Benz having a season ending injury and having to count on Negredo for the rest of the season.


Edit: We should at least inquire about Llorente.
