I read a while ago that this was the first summer in several years(or longer) during which no Japanese player moved to Europe.

European clubs lost interest in the Japanese market, as the players do not bring in as much profit as it used to 10 years ago. Now days, Japanese players has prove that they deserve to be in the European clubs. In other words, the sock values to the Japanese players are low.

I really don't want to see J-League plyaers head for Europe.
It's a myth that playing in Europe develops Japanese players.
What did Nakamura learn from the joke league?
Takahara was good in the Asian Cup. But he just found his old form from his J. League days at Eintracht. Japanese players must get accustomed to European football, culture and language before they become established players on the pitch.

Japan should place more importance to J. League.
