    "Bayern Munich's Michael Ballack, on the other hand, really does want to move after next summer's German jamboree, and reckons the fact he'll be on a free transfer from Bayern means he'll be able to command a gargantuan salary. Bayern boss Felix Magath, however, intends to foil that plan. Not content with blasting his midfield maestro last year for using hair gel (before being forced into an embarrassing climb-down in which he confessed that he too is a user), Magath says he'll not let Ballack leave for free so either he signs a new deal now or Bayern will sell him to the highest bidder in the next few weeks. Word is that outburst has sent Sir Alex Ferguson scampering cap-in-hand to Malcolm Glazer."
