Yeah, VfB Stuttgart really showing that they are going for the youth movement, eh?

I am following RCD Mallorca this season also so I was aware of the Maffeo loan deal.

Still hoping that they do not sell Kalajdzic this summer.

And here's a follow up. It appears that Pepi to VfB is not happening:

    Too bad.

Here's some up-to-date transfer news translated from the Stuttgarter Nachrichten:

Atletico Madrid apparently want to sign Pablo Maffeo.
As the Spanish medium "Mundo Deportivo" reports, Atletico Madrid has increased interest in Pablo Maffeo. The capital club has the winger high on the list and definitely wants to strike in the summer. Until then, Maffeo is on loan from VfB to RCD Mallorca. The 24-year-old is a regular there and has played 18 of 20 games. As Madrid dropped Kieran Trippier just last week, they are already trying to bring in Maffeo as a replacement, reports MD. However, this would require an agreement with VfB and Mallorca.

Hamadi Al Ghaddioui joins Paphos FC The deal is now sealed.
The German-Moroccan joins Paphos FC from VfB Stuttgart. The club is fifth in the table in Cyprus. So it wasn't the Zorniger Club Appolon Limassol, Hamadi Al Ghaddioui was also traded there. “Hamadi has been an important part of our squad on and off the field in recent years. He played a large part in the direct promotion back to the Bundesliga and always behaved in the interests of the team even in phases with little playing time. Hamadi now has the interesting opportunity to gain new experience abroad and, if they are successful with Pafos in the league, to also play at European level. Against this background, we can understand his desire to change and have approved the transfer. We thank Hamadi for his commitment in the jersey with the chest ring and wish him all the best for the future," Sven Milsintat is quoted as saying.

Philipp Klement said goodbye to VfB on Thursday - at least for six months.
He moved to SC Paderborn on loan. Hamadi Al Ghaddioui is likely to follow him this Friday - albeit permanently. The attacker is about to make a change and has already posted a post on Instagram that should be interpreted as a farewell. Al Ghaddioui's contract with VfB only runs until June, so he could only be loaned out if the contract with VfB were extended beforehand - that is not to be expected. It's probably going to Cyprus, where he was at the beginning of the week to look around at his potential new club. An official announcement can therefore be expected soon. Philipp Klement is loaned to SC Paderborn VfB Stuttgart lends Philipp Klement to SC Paderborn. The midfielder had a successful time there in 2018-2019, making 47 games (18 goals) at Pader. Klement will be awarded until the end of the season (June 30). At VfB Stuttgart, the Ludwigshafener still has a working paper until June 2023. “Philipp had little playing time with us recently. The loan to SC Paderborn is therefore a very sensible step for him to get back into the rhythm of the game through regular appearances," said sports director Sven Mislintat in the accompanying message from the club. Nothing was known about a loan fee.

The bad news (I guess) is these are all players leaving VfB. I've seen no mention of players transferring in. :cautious:

Yeah, the second half of this season doesn't look promising. I fear that relegation is going to happen and only one 2.B match is shown each week; thus, no way to follow VfB in the 2.B next season.
