Yes, with so much talk about the subject, this is a good idea. But, I’ll be the first to admit I hate transfers and rumours (it’s that media thing again…). I get too attached, I know, that’s my problem. Every player has their own personality they bring to the team. There has to be something més than just being a fantastic footballer to make up a functioning unit.
That said, the least bothersome transfer for me would be, Ezquerro, there, I said it. Happy Lucho? As much as it pains me to send anyone to the abattoir and hang him by a hook, realistically speaking, he’s the one that least contributes in playing time… I suppose Belletti could go too and I know a few others should, but I can’t bring myself to admit it yet... give me some time.

 

In other news Barca are closing in on signing Roque Jr from Leverkusen.

No I'm only a fanboy Of Kluivert. Roque Jr. is just part a an inside joke I have with some of my friends. When we would play WE8 Roque would always be the defender that just completely f'd up every play and never did a damn thing right. After that I stated touting him (sarcastically) as the greatest defender ever. The rest is history. Hypothetically if he came here I'd be his biggest fan.

Knowing the source, I would guess this story was pieced together when The Matrix happened to be playing on TV next to a coffeetable book about Barcelona, which led the desperate writer (when I think of tf.com, I think of writers chained to desks and made to produce crap while they are horsewhipped) to produce this journalism.

Anyway I will wear my drawers on my head the day Barca announce interest in Marco Materazzi, but I think it'd be hilarious if he played in La Liga, for several reasons.

All gossip at this point, but if Tevez goes to Spain, it'd be between Madrid and Barca, and looks like Madrid are much more into buying him.

 

I dont usually trust englisht news papers especially not The Sun (the first to mention this rumour) but i doubt that Tevez is coming to Madrid especially because he is non EU (which i think he is) and there are no free spots at RM unless we loan out Marcelo.

He's defenitively moving from the Hammers though.

 

Yes I just couldn't stop laughing when I saw him when I played against Brasil in WE8. He reminds me a lot of Titus Bramble. Thank G'd in WE9 and WE2007 he's not in the game. It would be too much for me to take.

Monchengladbach leftback Marcell Jansen has apparently told the relegated Bundesliga club of his wish to leave. His contract with Gladbach ends in 2009.
Jansen was a target of Barcelona, Arsenal and Bayern Munich last summer and Barca seems to still have interest.
Heard his name but don't really know much about him.
