Maybe Qatar will offer a ride on the Air Farce 47?

Good move. Hope they can get him out of there. Totally ignored by 3 coaches in a row.

Why on earth would he not want to go to ATM? The move to Vasco made sense to reject but this is weird...

Cruzeiro has also been linked with a possible Hinestroza transfer.

His agent is going to fk up this kids career....

a summer to get use to the new team > December pick your own team.

A team bigger than Atletico..... or that will pay him more. He wants free transfer 20m a season to Saudi league. I'd put money on that

Don't think the Saudis are interested in players only succeeding in the FPC they need to make it in a bigger league first.

If he's a free agent he'll get paid alot more if he leaves on a free. From a playing perspective, ATM sucks for young attackers developing, the failure rate is so high and if ATM wants him he could pick alot of other clubs that will give him a more assured role to develop in. I honestly wouldn't want any of our young guys moving direct from Colombian league to Atleti if we could help it, demands are extreme under Simeone.

What hypocrites. They think he's worth 80 million if they sell him but he's not worth more than 55k/week playing for them.
Pretty strange that Barca are so crazy about him given how many Colombians have struggled in la Liga, Mina for instance.

Oh they don't care about that shit. They just look at player characteristics. Also we've had high profile success stories too, Carlos Bacca was excellent, Falcao, Perea, Luis Suarez, James, Mojica

Guajaro's a top player, he'll be fine. Also I don't think they sell raphinha, they need depth. They got ruined this season with injuries

Barca are probably gonna try to sell Araujo, maybe Ter Stegen, maybe they get some other money coming in from somewhere but I don't thin there is a chance they sell Raphina. I believe that Diaz is their number one target but I don't think they'll easily get the money and pay 80m, but if they're gonna spend Diaz makes a ton of sense, he's not just the perfect fit for their system he's 3 players in one.

Raphina is amazing, but he can't really dribble or stay wide and create, he presses and attacks the box, Diaz can dribble and stay wide but he can also attack the box and be the Raphina replacement, they also need a Yamal backup and Diaz can also play on that side and handle the creativity, they also need a Lewy backkup and Diaz can do that to. There isn't another player on the market that fits all of their attacking needs like Diaz, who can play the Raphina, Yamal and Lewy roll only one exists and its Lucho.

Alot of games they would start Raphina as the 10 and Diaz left and probably Diaz at 9 too, I'd love to see it tbh but the finances of Barca are highly restrictive and I don't think Diaz will be stubborn with Liverpool, but Laporta has made miracles in the past so maybe he has something up his sleeve.

It is being reported that Nacional is trying to reinforce their roster for the knockout stages of the Libertadores.
As mentioned in the Nacional thread they are interested in bringing back Medina from Mexico.

Also reportedly interested in Campaz which is less likely due to his transfer value but would be awesome if they could pull it off. A front line of Campaz--Viveros-Hinestroza would be pretty deadly with Billy and Morelos as decent bench players.

Raphinha has scored 18 goals this season, don't think lucho could get those numbers, he's more wasteful in front of goal even though he probably is the better player all around.
I don't think they'll sell raphinha I think they will rotate between raphinha, yamal and lucho.
Hope Liverpool makes a great offer though because I much rather he turns into a legend at LFC staying there until salahs age. If Barca produces the 80M though I think he will leave no discussion.

Raphina has 34 in all competitions this season and previous to this season they both have a similar goal contribution across their careers, Raphina is much better creating chances and assists. I wouldn't have thought Raphina could do what he's done this season, but under Flick and this system the guy has thrived, I think Diaz could put up similar goal contributions (I don't think Raphina will replicate this amazing season either tbh). Raphina's end product and ability in the box is better so far, but I see Diaz as capable of making the same leaps, and I've always felt Diaz with the right system could up his end product alot, but his value is so high outside of the box that he's not given the chance as much.

Either way they're both great players, and their pressing is both amazing, and first and foremost Barca demand players who can press off the ball. Diaz at Liverpool is great, but Barca could take him to a higher level and Colombia having a guy winning UCL and fighting for everything would be amazing.
