After the game he had last night, River will want much more money and Carrascal will want much more clout.
With how clubs are spending on players now a days in recent memory I wouldn't put it past anyone to pay a stupid amount of money for a player regardless of their quality ...
According to @PipeSierraR, Ajax are very interested in signing Colombian attacking midfielder (playing for River Plate) Jorge Carrascal this month, who has a €20M buyout-clause.Does anyone know about this player and what can you tell about him? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/MlbNwnxjpG— 𝐀𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐗 💎 (@TheEuropeanLad) January 23, 2020 If Ajax want him then all bets are off, he should push every way he can to get there. I just want this guy to play, his ceiling has always been super high he just needs to be able to showcase it and be in the right system. Wish it would work for him at River, but if they don't have him in their immediate plans he should push to move.
One of the few teams in the world that I think could give him what he might lose if he leaves Gallardo's guidance. Of course, there's a bit of a logjam of attacking players there atm..
I don't think you get how the clauses work. They are a safety put in by the player and the club based on potential, if the player blows up and wants to be able to go to Europe its there to give him a way to leave no questions asked, 20m release clause for a player with Carrascal's ceiling is very reasonable for both sides actually and the if the club want rid of him they can sell for whatever they want if they don't see him being valuable. When you sign a player you don't know if he'll be a reserve or not. If you look at the amounts River and for example Porto and Benfica have sold young players for you can see they know exactly what they are doing, clubs are desperate to sign players who aren't even stars in these clubs for big money.
Is he better today than Diaz was when he left Junior for Porto and is his ceiling higher? you are totally kidding yourself if you think he is. has been disappointing at River and has 1 good game against a god awful Ecuador and now he is worth 20 million. I mean god I hope he becomes better than James but I want him to go somewhere he actually plays and continues to improve
Who cares if he was better today, it doesn't mean he's worth 20 million how do you not understand that? It's a potential valuation that really only comes into play under specific circumstances, lots of clubs get completely screwed putting in a small release clause, so they are almost always going to over value it. People laughed at Quintero's clause and potential valuation but guys like Quintero or even Carrascal have so much talent that if they put it together they could be hugely valuable on the market.
He havent been disapointing in river. Each time his level was better. Not a reserve player For a reason they decides to bought him
Da ******** are people thinking? These clubs won't take Colombian players so seriously as expensive as that to buy but will sell them as expensive...especially if this is a player that isn't mainstream and proven to be worth that much.
It's called negociation. If Rangers say they want 30 millions, other teams will offer them 20 millions. And what does proven mean? Noboy's 100% proven.
inter has no money that why they don’t. Have Eriksen yet so unless Rangers accept a 17 year old with a buy back option, Borja(34), Rano, + another shit bench player for This guy deal won’t happen
