    can we plz have a thread of only the transfer news??? since i don't have time to check this forum out everyday and the offseason thread is about 20 pages, which makes it a bit hard to keep up. so i'll get is started:

    ezquerro in free transfer from bilbao,
    van bommel in free transfer from PSV,

    riquelme out 4 mil??? to villareal

    this thread would be great for people who have a bit less time on their hands and wanna keep up with all the transfers. btw www.goal.com doesn't have a complete set of transfer news. Fiorentina bought frey, brocchi and pasqual. never knew about it until today.

    JRR 7M Euros to Villareal. Well 7M + 2M to Boca + 3M If Villreal make the CL next year + 25% of any future transfer for Barca.

    Check this out. These are the altas so far for Mallorca:

    MALLORCA
    Héctor Cúper

    Toni Prats (Betis), Kome* (Mallorca), Perera*, Nagore* (Celta), Delibasic*, Toni González (Ciudad) y Fernando Navarro* (Barcelona)

    The asterisk means that they've returned from loan. Did we all miss something here?

    Why so we always loan players out and not sell them? Any smart idea?

    I think the feeling is that if we belive that they have potential to improve and either;

    a) rejoin the club at a latter date
    or
    b) be sold once they have shown improvement

    I like that we do it, we can monitor their development and retain the option to call them home if we decide they are ready

    Chris has a point. We don't want to give away players for small fees that turn out to be worth more in the future.

    How long until Madrid just annexes Uruguay as a wing of the Bernabeu?

    I've seen him play too, he's strong, fast and has good technique, we should sign him to get some competition inside the yorugua NT
