Always wanted to see James in Serie A. But if Lazio, don’t sign a strong center back, a good defensive mid and a decent striker, I really think they’re going to fight to stay up. I can’t see them having a season like Fiorentina did last year.

Vergara and his agent are set for showdown talks with Napoli over a new contract and a pay increase. According to reports Napoli already rejected two offers of 25 million for the player. Rumour has it that one of the teams is Atalanta. Napoli value the player at 30-35. I have a feeling that he will get sold before the mercato closes

Napoli have beaten Cagliari to the signing of Mattia Esposito. TBH I had no idea about this player, but from his HL’s it looks like he has great technique.

I agree. However I think it’s more of a case of Cagliari wanting to cash out. They already programmed Alessandro Romano as his replacement. Torino would have been the ideal team for him but he didn’t impress on his loan.

 

Pretty good move considering the other rumour had him going to newly promoted Benevento in Serie B
