Inter will have to throw some players into the transfer. They’re talking about young left back Matteo Cocchi

Palestra’s agent is in Milan today to speak to Inter management. I’m guessing they’re going to try and work out contract details. Still no word from Atalanta. This is reminding me a lot of the Lookman saga from last year where Inter and the player strongly wanted the move, but Atalanta weren’t satisfied with what Inter were putting on the table. I see a lot of Inter fans crying online that the price is too high and the player is overvalued. But these guys don’t understand that its basic economics. Lots of high profile bidders and the price increases.

I really hope Palestra goes to Inter if the other option is Newcastle. But it’s sad that the best team in Italy right now is operating on a shoe string budget. They don’t have any real purchasing power.
