After Comuzzo rejected the Saudis, it looks like Atalanta are in for him. I don’t understand why Fiorentina want to part with him anyway. They seemed very reluctant last year during the winter market. Anche l'#Atalanta si mette in fila per #Comuzzo. Il giovane difensore cambierà aria quest'estate 🤔? pic.twitter.com/6NCrPxcwc7— Transfermarkt.it (@TMit_news) August 28, 2025
I don't like Pio staying at Inter this season. Inter should make a bold move and sell Thuram or Lautaro and let him flurish.
Como sell their only Italian Cutrone to Parma. Fiorentina buy another italian by signing Caviglia from Venezia. Fiorentina seem to have an abundance of midfielders but it does look like Pioli is interpreting the 3421 as almost a 361 with 6/4 midfielders playing at times behind a lone striker. Regardless it is nice that under this ownership there is a clear directive to buy Italians. For years it was impossible for me to really support Fiorentina as they were among the worst offenders. Now they buy Italians and they have a quality youth/training set up. The future is bright for them. Hopefully with more stadium revenue they can begin to truly compete. Inter have said they will allow Fratessi to Newcastle if they agree to 40m up front and complete the deal quickly. Im not sure if he is suited to the Premier League but I don't see a starting place for him in Serie A at the moment outside maybe Roma. Juve could use him as they need midfielders but Inter won't want to strengthen Juve. At this point we could be looking at Donnarumma Tonali Calafiori Udogie Vicario Kolesho Gnonto Kayode Leoni Chiesa Coppola Fratessi all in the EPL and all of them could be on the national team. Add to that Raspadori and Rugerri in Spain and you could have a majority Italy with players outside the Serie A depending on who performs and is called. That is 14 players right there. I don't hate it as it opens up spots for other Italians in Serie A and technically gets more Italians playing at a high level than less but we may never see a true Juve/Milan block ever again.

seems like it's City or bust and they are still waiting to sell Ederson to either Saudi or Turkey. it's just a matter of when the first domino falls. Everything seems to be ready to go but it makes sense for the clubs that want Ederson to apply pressure on City to take a smaller fee and for City to apply pressure on PSG for a smaller fee.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, Alessandro Bianco wants playing time and PAOK from the Greek league is close to finalizing a deal.
Buffon said recently that Italians leaving Italy is a good thing. What are Bianco’s options? Bench, Serie B or first division in Greece. To me the move is the best for him

I might be crazy, but if I sit down and think it through, I want Gigio at Gala over City. I want Gigio as far away from Pep as possible. Also, Gala has a great CL draw with a mixture of opponents. Gigio will still face good teams. He faces good competition in the group stage and has a very real chance of progressing to knockout. And the attacking in Turkey will at least decent enough, perhaps not too dissimilar to France. For me, the more I weigh it, I think I want Gigio to just go to Gala and forget Pep
Not only Bianco, PAOK have also signed Vogliacco from Genoa. Looks like the Greeks are scouting Italian.
From memory, I think PAOK have recently won some string of silverware in Greece if I am remembering correctly.
Udinese have submitted their final offer for Zaniolo. Gala are still evaluating. Meanwhile the Zanoli deal is finalized. This team needs more Italians.
I hope Zaniolo can play at peace in Udine. I think this would be good for him and the league if it works.
Donnarumma simply makes too much money even City is not willing to match the wages because they are just below Haaland and it disrupts their hierarchy. PSG could get fleeced just to get him partially off the books.
Transfer Season ends on Monday and Gigio still without a club *SMDH*. Turkish League transfer season end on September 12 so if he doesn't move to City by Monday, best case scenario will be Galatasaray.
Gala would be fine. It's not far off the same attacking he would see in France. Also, Gala's champions league schedule is a great mix of winnable games and top competition.
