Wonder if this means Juventus can sign another non-EU player in Zalayeta's place ....

Makes sense. They lack the true "engine room" MF, but their MF is jampacked already. Unless they planned on playing a 2-6-2 or something.

They should buy Tevez. An amazing young talent.

    Er, no thanks.

We're currently quite happy with Makelele, who's better than Edgar anyway. You should have offloaded him to us when you had the chance, although I thank you for not doing so.

I'm sure Real will take him off your hands though; they're desperate for someone who can tackle.

what do you think the chances of oddo, stam, or stankovic coming to juve in January are now that both lazio and inter are out of the champions league?

Santos defender Alex has reportedly agreed on a deal with AC milan for 3.5 mil... why doesnt Juve try to sign young talent from south america, like milan? After all sometimes its better to get young prospects who will develop into stars. Milan only paid 6.5 mil? for kaka and he is already a star. I think Juve should take in what Milan is doing and sign young talent, as well as signing the proven stars they are doing now.

Because south american players often are away with their national teams for WC or AC qualifiyng.
And more often they're away for pitiful tournaments in Bahrain or China organized by sponsors.
And even more often south american players return from their NT tours quite tired if not injured.
This applies especially for Brazilian players, whose NT is owned by Nike.

Not a great deal for a team that pays a lot of cash for them.

i think stankovic deciding on inter helps us cause then our focus would turn to defence... oddo or stam.. i think we have more than enough forwards and enough Midis..

Word is that Juve will only let him go in January if they get some $$. If they don't he's going to sit on the bench until June.

Juventus should sign Tevez to counter Milan's signing of Kaka. Judging by what I've seen between the two, Tevez is better and would make up for Moggi completely dropping the ball on Kaka.

...Bayern have been looking for Tevez for a while now, and just recently he said he wants to stay in Argentina for a while longer.
