Training Camp On Feb. 7

Chris Bergin got the info form me. Feb 7th is when this Higgins kid's agent said he is coming to Dallas. That is NOT when camp opens.

There will be training in January at Blue Sky.
There will be training in February at Blue SKy.
Just like there has been some training in December at Blue SKy.

As for the official opening of Spring camp, that has not been set yet. It will be sometime in early february.

My recollection is that the Burn are spending March in Florida and will get in some preseason games against other MLS teams. Is that correct?

 

I have been told there will be the same preseason MLS Florida camp/tounry with all MLS teams as they have every year. They even have a little trophy if I remember correctly.

 

Does anyone know in what country the burn will train this year.

 

Look at the previous messages, it looks like they'll be in Miami.

 

But don't they also go to another country(Chile-2002, Mexico-2001).

 

The season starts in March I believe, so I'm not sure if they'll go to another country for a round of friendlies.

The team starts February 3 with physicals, meetings, and fitness at Blue Sky. Burn will be at UTD on February 4, though sessions will not be great as half the players are doing "Burn out Drugs" seminars. The trialists, etc. will be in on February 10.
