i hope not, we already are loaded with forwards who almost score and make you hide your face in your hands when they miss fom 5 yards away.

    Meant strong. Phone typing sucks.

Depends on what you mean by loaded at forward, because we are seeing that a lot of these guys in the forward position aren't that good at scoring apart from Jahn. Cole could pretty good alongside Wondo if we had another winger to feed them the ball.

I highly doubt we are really in on Carlton Cole. It sounds like his agent cooking up rumors to feed to the press.

The 3 teams rumored for him aren't big spenders and he's out of contract. I don't see how it's impossible we are not in the running.

different type of player than ring. He can play defensive mid but mostly played attacking mid, right mid, or left mid at UCLA. the one similarity between the two is they both have great engines.

I've seen Cole play week in week out for the past 3 or 4 years in this country, he's very decent, I think he could still cut it in the EPL personally. He has been capped by the full England national team as well. Defiantly better then Earnshaw.

The two things I would say, why are we going after another striker when we have Wondo, Gordan, Lenny, Jahn, Tracey, Fucito? I'm sure we would have to cut at least one of those guys.
And secondly I doubt that he would want to come over here, I was reading a few days ago that he has left West Ham because he had big wage demands, I doubt we could even afford him. & I'm sure he will go to another EPL side in London, maybe Fulham or very possibly a Championship side in London like QPR or Watford, We will see shortly.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense. Quakes need more help in the midfield. I think they are OK at forward.

Ok at forward? Their forwards have hardly any goals. Not sure if they are really ok....

Well, Lenhart and Gordon haven't played much. They were good last year. Didn't they suddenly become not good? I don't think so. Wondo's been scoring but not really finishing well. Tracy, if he can stay healthy, can contribute. Jahn has been scoring, and Fucito gives you some speed at the position for a change of pace. That's six guys, none of whom I would feel bad about starting.

Jahn for a rookie is doing his job when he plays even though he is still learning the pro game but Fucito IMHO is not impressive at all and there is a reason why he hasn't played anymore. Wondo is supposed to be our DP/MVP and if I'm not mistaken (I believe) had 2 pk's almost missing one. Its true Lenny & Gordon were great last season and they've been both out and injured and/or suspended but they have not recaptured last seasons form when they do play and the bottom line is they are not doing their job which is to score goals and if they aren't doing that, not sure how they can be ok. If anything, don't see how the whole team is doing good offensively when you score 13 goals in 13 games.....

Goal scoring typically comes in waves. Gordon and Lenhart haven't started their wave yet. Even if you extend last season's sample size into this season, they would still very productive forwards. It's possible that they suddenly became bad, but I doubt it. Patience, my friend. I don't think it's a good idea to turn over your roster every time you hit a rough patch. Swapping out one guy for a new signing? Maybe, but I still think they should focus on the midfield.

As for Fucito, I like him. He's a very smart player, a good soccer player, and quick. He gives you a different look / skillset relative to the bash bros.

ditto, these guys have a goalscoring track record, only Tracy and Fucito really face the burden of proof but they both offer something different. Tracy is the one im most excited about and i hope he gets more chances if Gordon and Lenny cant start clicking.

I don't think they've turned into bad players but its a collective team (lack of) effort here. This team has played 13 games and they are approaching the 1/2 way point in the season and at a goal a game , playing catch up isn't exactly an indication of being highly productive. All I'm saying is someone (don't really care who it is) better start scoring soon because heads and trades will start rolling.....

I want more Hondurans......just saying. Pery seems to be a tad less influential than Chavez and Muma......hopefully more of the later. Pery seems only.....decent, just a body thus far.

Honestly, unless changes are made with this lineup/roster (and even then), I really do not see a light at the end of this years tunnel.....

I don't think we have much cap space to bring new players in. We spent a lot of our cap re-signing the guys who had good seasons last year. The fact so many players are underperforming is really hurting us. We would need to blow up the team and move salaries to bring new guys in and I'm not ready to give up on this squad yet, not after what they achieved last year.

I think they may trade Lenny or Gordon. I have a soft spot for both of them especially after the way they played last year but something has got to happen soon to shake up the club.
