    Well said Master Pegasus.

Additional Items for Your Consideration regarding my vehemence
regarding the parking lot.... ALWAYS factor the worst-case endgame.
If you think being hidden away behind the goal is bad, wait until
your tailgate is 5000 yards away from the stadium. The worst-case
is beyond out of sight and out of mind. It's Out of Bounds.

To those who don't understand why i'm a loose cannon....
here's an example I remembered watching Frontline tonight on PBS...
During the Ann Richards - Shrub hoedown in '93, flyers depicting
two males kissing one another began appearing on cars parked
in church parking lots all over Austin, Dallas and Houston, THREE DAYS
after Karl Rove masterminded his first big Dirty Tricks manouvre that
used an East Texas State Rep to accuse Ann Richards of hiring
male homosexuals to work in TX state government. The flyers
said in big words: "HOMOSEXUALS", "LESBIANS", "CONDOM USE".
The flyers didn't have any political names or message whatsoever.
But the connection between the two events is more than circumspect.
In order to protect the "Legitimate" entity, an "apparently disconnected"
third party is often used to do the dirty work. You are the churchgoers.
I'm your Karl Rove. Dirty Tricks 101, The Secret Team, Fletcher Prouty, 1972.

Not that it matters, but no one ever came forward to claim responsibility
for the fliers that seemed to serve no discernable purpose other than
to stir up the religious right. And the responsible party(ies), who
masterminded this brilliant play in 3 cities on the same day, were
    never named.

Our problem is a chicken/egg problem. The numbers Nards says we need
to have Negotiating Legitimacy we once had but were blown away by
a decision (Sucklack) made by those we now need to convince. It's a
moebius loop that wraps around and collapses in upon itself. However,
there is proof, in Chicago, and in DC, that our cause is just:

I'll go a step furhter than Pegasus...

You can make MORE money emphasizing your hardcores.
Because when you have a majority of hardcores, you have
transcended in to the mainstream. You are ubiquitous.

It's called crossing the chasm, and your early adopters are
ALWAYS your most important evangelists in a complex market.
My take is that KC and Cowlumbus are not complex markets,
they are rather regressed, homogeneous, and 2nd tier.

WHAT WORKS THERE isn't neccessarily going to work here.

And it's not about THE STADIUM, it's about what happens
IN THE STADIUM. I think HSG is still erect and humming
over the stadium.... what did the letter with my invoice say?...

"We are building it, and YOU ARE COMING." (emphasis mine).....

    Clockwork1984metropolisMarx HSG ad campaign:

    SOCCER MOMS OF THE WORLD.
    UNITE.
    FRISCO 2005.
    YOUR ORGASM IS IMMINENT.

This supporter group member has no loyalty. The loyalty went out the window when they decided to rebrand the product. If they want my loyalty, they will have to earn it back by improving the product on the field. Putting people like me at the bottom of the priority list of target consumers is a poor starting point.

Speaking of which, I think Mrs. TA is about to start a thread regarding Inferno awards over on The Inferno forum...should be fun.

Rookie of the Year should go to Mrs. TA or Zen. MTA was a real go-getter on the banner front and has initiated a few things this year, and Zen...well what can you say...he got a red mohawk for the last Burn game & has an actual Burn tatoo with an FC Dallas tat on the way!

    Hey Boys,

I bought the HD Tivo at Hillcrest for $899 and negotiated for about $350 in credits from DirectTV. All told not a bad deal.

Darn it justscore - we need the lil inferno to represent - can the twins make an appearance? Please :D

Promise that between all of us we will end up with adequate notes - maybe not buzzesque in organization and style, but enough to where you will know the gist

Ask about the uniforms: ie if no hoops, give us Ajax, Marseille, or Monaco.

Whats up with the rules changes? Are they going to change or not?

From talking to Elliott, I am 99% sure it's gonna be hoops.

Probably after (or at) MLS Cup.

but you should still ask both questions.

Doubt it, there wasn't one at the last town hall meeting. There was a open bar at the FC Dallas unveiling but that was a celebration of sorts. I wouldn't count on it.

food and beverages will be available, it just doesn't way what kind of beverages.

being at a hotel like the unveiling, though, gives me hope... :D
