other than that, the real GIGI is coaching either in Africa or in the former soviet union (ukraine).

It's also well known that the US named this building Capitol to honor of our CapitolE!

    Losing a 2-0 lead?

    Welcome to my world.

Credit to Caen though. Their form is out of this world....

Marseille, St-Etienne and then Toulouse. Unbelievable.

I read it was the best Toulouse game at home ... except the last 20 minutes.

Now we have the record of consecutive losses and that sucks !

this thread just came on my radar...

a quick post to say that i agree with panicfc about the uniforms: they are too cool, and this year better than ever, as that particular shade of purple is so beautiful it deserves a simple one-tone treatment, even though last season's purple/gray was also nice.

I used to have a purple Austria Vienna kit when I was a kit.

    Very dapper!

They could use red and black for their jerseys...

It seems that works very well... ;)

I mean like the rugby cousin of TFC, le Stade Toulousain, european champion for the third time this week end. :)

Nice!! I was just wondering how that went. Allez le Stade!!

7 losses in a row....at least Moreira tried really hard this time, though you guys said it was the best TFC home match for 70 minutes. I haven't been able to follow the team very closely lately, but what the hell is going on???

If TFC does'nt win anymore, it seems that they think a lot about the next season. We have yet a new player in the squad ! He's called Fodé Mansaré and comes from Montpellier (Ligue 2).

Good news for football (sorry, soccer) fans in Toulouse. A friendly game will take place in le Stadium on Monday, 30th, between TFC and France 98, a team leaded by Fabien Barthez (I know he's suspended, but, come on, he's the one who organized this game). The game is for the victims of the AZF explosion (September 2001, 21st).

Here are the players of France 98 :

Bernard Lama, Fabien Barthez, Lionel Charbonnier

Vincent Candela, Bixente Lizarazu, Laurent Blanc, Marcel Desailly,Willy Sagnol, Mikaël Silvestre

Patrick Vieira, Didier Deschamps, Zinédine Zidane, Robert Pires, Alain Boghossian, Emmanuel Petit, Christian Karembeu, Olivier Dacourt, Sabri Lamouchi, Pierre Laigle, Claude Makelele

Stéphane Guivarc'h, Bernard Diomede, Christophe Dugarry, Thierry Henry

    Coach : Aimé Jacquet

That's a good idea. We still have one more game to play. Let's wait for the end of the season and then begin the new thread.

Have you heard about the "sceance de dedicaces" ( uhm i dont know how to say that in English... well, when you can get your shirts, pics etc, signed by a star ) going on tomorrow morning at the Addidas store?

Do you know which players will be there?
I know there'll be Aimé Jacquet for sure.

I still don't know what to bring... a scarf is not the most convenient to be signed. I guess i gonna buy some tee-shirt or an official ball...
Yesterday i've been around in some stores and of course there were no remaining items on the French Soccer Team.

hopefully it will go better than at the lyon adidas store last month: the organization was such that there were "incidents" only a few minutes after the 2 hour session should have started (my wife and son had already been waiting an hour) and they shut the doors on hundreds of fans.
