Totally forgot about Aguirre. Hope he lights it up. Sucks about jona Gonzales not even being allowed to go to this squad. I have high hopes for Jurado!

The quality of that striker pool seems pretty bad. Has Eduardo Aguirre done anything since the last Toulon tournament? Last I checked his goal ratio in Ascenso was awful. Would have probably been better to give the spot to someone actually scoring in the U20 league or in Liga Premier.

Good team, and eventually they will be adding players like Lainez, Macias, Alvarado, Sanchez, Jona Gonzalez, and Vega.

I still don't understand how that Aguirre kid keeps getting called up. And not only that, but I'm sure he'll be the starting striker just because he runs a lot.

Mexico destroying Bahrain. 2-0 at minute 10 with most of the game played in Bahrain’s half.

Not sure if we should be worried that we’re only beating Bahrain 2-0.

Apparently we’ve hit the crossbar a few times. But I’m just glad one of our youth teams is finally winning lol

Mexico did very well in the 1st half, the 2nd half was a big disappointment because of the terrible play in the final third. Mexico should've done better but their finishing became god awful. The other half of the field was also slippery and Mexico failed to do well plus Bahrain improved. Alan Mozo had a a great 1st half not so much in the 2nd. Erick Aguirre had a couple of good opportunities and I though he was the most disappointing player along with Sebastian Cordova and especially Alan Medina, who came in as a sub.

It’s hard to say because usually a successful team is one that gets recognized. Hopefully they make a deep and impactful run. Even if it’s a close final loss.

They could have one by more than 5 goals but they missed a lot of chances.

So with the results now no team in Group A and Group B can finish in 2nd place with 7 points. Thus it will benefit both Mexico and Ireland to tie as with that result, wins in the final game will qualify both teams to the semifinals.
