AS Roma skipper Francesco Totti has openly asked chairman Franco Sensi to reinforce the team following this season's disastrous events.

"I hope Sensi makes four important signings, and as a captain I will insist to make this happen," said Totti.

"When I say I have thought of leaving my team, I do it because I have the need to say that I want to play in a Roma side that aims to play in the Champions League final," added Il Capitano of AS Roma.

Sensi has repeatedly promised to make these four signings in the past months.

Totti is spot on. I love the guy. We really need strength on the defence and mids. If we can sign some world class players to control the attack from the middle of the pitch I think we can win the Scudetto next season.

Dacourt is a step in the right direction, but frankly we need players of Kapo, Cisse, Mexes, quality to help push us over the hump.

Sorry, been playing CM 4 heavily as Auxxerriose...naturally those were the first names that came off the tips of the fingers. :D

A few more Cassano's with more professional attitudes wouldn't hurt either.

Rather'd see them at Barca than at Real Merdarid! ;) Besides I don't know exactly what finances will be allocated to Capello for the upcoming season...Sensi might not give him enough anyway, making it all a moot point. :(
