I heard that his penalty today against Sampdoria made him Roma's highest all-time scorer. Congrats!

He tied Roberto Pruzzo with 106 Serie A goals for Roma.

I dislike totti very much but i will give him congrats. But i do think that his goals do have a lot to do with penalties since he is the main penalty take it seems this season he hasnt scored a lot of open play goals but regardless he has worked hard to get where he has got and i give him congrats

Totti played very well against Sampdoria. Also Mancini and Cufre played well too.But i did not like the rest of the team.I hope Roma will be better soon.

Unfortunately Totti won't get a chance next week to beat the record because of the yellow card.

    Just a random question...

Did Totti by chance wear #9 in Euro 04?

Hope all is well...many a grazie in advance.

    Ciao, take care.

Thanks for the reply...perhaps I should of asked a better question. Has he ever wore #9?

    I saw a diadora add in some magazine...and there he was...but in a #9 jersey...unless I'm off my rocker.

But it's only Thursday...I shouldn't get like that for another day or two.

    Anywho, thanks again.
    Ciao.

Naw...I'm def. not doing that. But aye, tis weird, has the tattoo on his right arm and all. Perhaps it is a staged shot...but doesn't look so...and second, why would he wear #9. Anywho, cheers to 107.

    Take care all,

Quotes were taken out of context. I watched clips of the interview on RAI.

After he netted the record breaker, Totti removed his jersey displaying a white t-shirt which stated, "107 just for you", dedicating all of his goals to the fans of Roma.

I know the press never let the facts get in the way of a good story, especially when it involves a national star with a bad attitude. ;)

Not only he scored 108 goals in Serie-A which is an outstanding record, he had so many assists too.
Strongest point of Totti is his accurate and unpredictable passes, well-balanced ball control, and strong body physique. Those three things made Totti so great

Totti is one of Italy's greatest players ever. When he is in great form, he can control a whole game and just crush the other team. Also, his free kicks are devastating. he can blast them or curl them. Totti is the closest we will ever see to Roberto Baggio. (Except Baggio had a much nicer personality-maybe from the Buddhism)

Thanks for posting this. I know I have ripped Totti for his attitude (never his football skills), but honestly who hasn't mentioned or complained about his ever present sourpuss scowl........maybe that's what motivates him.....oh well. Congrats Totti! Still a MASSIVE achievment, no matter what you think of AS Roma or Totti.

Yes, but then the flock of kids in Roma shirts running onto the pitch to congratulate him? That was one the creepiest and most vainglorious things I had EVER seen on a pitch. It was Michael Jackson like for Crissakes!
Roma would be a lot harder to dislike if you didn't have such wonderful and level headed individuals like Cassano and Totti.

They were wearing Totti jerseys, and I would expect no less of an interpretation of a special record setting occasion in the Olimpico from a cugini-swapping, Lazio Merda, pedophile. Totti did keep his t-shirt on, preventing the kids from rubbing his bear chest. But he did let them touch his tatoos.

    Buon Natale :D
