Totti has just bought a banana farm in Somalia according to Reuters. The farm is said to be 300hq big and it contains loads of banana bushes. Totti has said that he is very happy with the purchase and is looking forward to growing hundreds of bananas. His favorite fruit is obviously banana. Every morning he eats two bananas and in the afternoon one banana. He has been said, and I paraphrase, "I love bananas! They're simply delicious!". Totti has been said to have fallen in love with bananas at his recent tour to Somalia, where he met a bunch of banana farmers. There he saw the light and shelled out some cash for his own banana farm. The locals are already anxiously waiting for the football player to arrive and ask for some football tricks to beat up the local opponents. Somalia's ambassador for Italy has welcomed Totti with open arms and he is offering a welcoming dinner to Totti and his family. There are a few things players do before a game that never get to the public, but one of these is not a secret: Totti eats one banana before every game. At the end of the interview Totti smirks a face and offers me a banana: "Want a banana, pretty?" Reporting from Somalia, Günther Jauch
So now when he sings: ciuccia la ciucia la ciuccia la banana laziale merda fijo de putanna....... He will really mean it!
Johnny Stecchino liked bananas but then after his experience in Palermo didn't want to buy bananas anymore:
I was going to get involved in a Agriturismo when I went to Italy. You get a subsidiary from the government while renting out an Inn as long as you show that the land will live off itself and that you show that you are providing the state with agriculture. I decided I didn't want to do it but Totti would probably have workers/farmers and/or contadini working for him. I seriously doubt even after he stops playing he would want to stay there. Then again that is kind of what Baggio is currently doing. Baggio & Totti however, are two different personalities.
