So far Tottenham's new and improved defense has shut down Ronaldo and the Utd offense. I dunno if that can happen all game long though with Utd's fire power. It's been a heck of a clash so far in the first half hour.

We just look terrible at the moment. Can't string two passes together, don't think we have a shot on target, and now Ronaldo carded for competely unneeded dissent.

I wouldn't be unhappy with getting into the dressing room at 1-0. Expect one hell of a hairdryer.

I wouldn't mind seeing Nani and Carrick on at half.

Possession, 57% to them, 43% to us. Wow thats bad for us. We are being so wasteful with our passing.

Carrick and his lack of bite is the last thing we need right now.

How many times has Giggs been dispossessed or given the ball away? He needs to get off the pitch ASAP.

Evra out of position again. Almost cost us, again.

Utd is playing like they've never seen each other before. Earlier I was going to say that Tevez had apparently been instructed to pass to only Rooney -- but I haven't seen him lately at all.

Giggs just gave the ball away. And then he just gave it away again. Now it's Ronaldo's turn to give it away. Now Evra is out of position and gives the ball to Tottenham.

He can calm us down. He rarely makes poor passes.

Carrick is the worst passer in our entire midfield in small spaces. It's amazingly dreadful for a player with good technique. I can't really figure out why nobody ever made him learn the skill.

No, Carrick's just good if you want someone to admire his (admittedly excellent) 40 yard cross-field passes.

Brown is good at what he does. Which is not playing at right back when we want to score a goal.

    Carrick is not the solution.

Nani to replace Giggs. Anderson to be ready at anytime for Hargreaves.

End to end, we're simply being bullied off the ball.

Credit to Ramos if he's managed to give Spurs some actual steel.

Now Evra bundled over in the box... no PK given of course.

Anderson is badly needed in this game. He's our only midfielder who can really attack and defend.

Anderson for Hargreaves. Maybe Nani for Giggs.

Anybody for Brown, for the love of God.

Handball decision on Hargreaves was rubbish.

They are tearing us apart on the break.
