A lot more optimistic about this team when we can play a 4-2-3-1

Leave it up to a piece of shit football club like Tottenham to botch their own new stadium debut, it was supposed to have been ready back last August in time for the Raiders and Seahawks NFL game, but apparently, it still isn't. HA!

As for the naming of the new stadium I could two shits and a f*** what they decide to call it, even if its for sponsorship reasons, after all it's still built on the very same shit football ground where the old piece of crap once stood, so therefore when it eventually opens, I will always call it New Shite Hart Lane!!!

    .
...and as for the Derby this Saturday, I'll be up and ready first thing 3:30 am Saturday morning making the usual 6 eggs and 5 brats, with Morning Joe brewing as well as being well dressed in my Arsenal best, and remember....

NORTH LONDON WILL ALWAYS BE RED, COYF'n'G!!!

Don't know If I ever enjoyed a NLD like the last one..but this one could be special.

Arsenal to within a point of TONLD(!) if they were to win at Wembley? Tasty.

I tend to agree. But is that what we played last time? I wasn't watching so closely but it looked a little different.

I dunno, anytime we're all happy about Arsenal we get put in our place. Seems unlikely spuds would lose 3 straight.

That's the same as someone saying that it's unlikely we would win 3 straight IMO.

Unai's Red Army prevails in a squeaker 2-1, it will be close but I think it will become a goalkeepers' duel between Hugo Lloris and Bernd Leno, it's gonna come down to which one makes the first mistake, if we can survive the first half we will be just fine.

This is happening. They have eaten the lasagne again and their season is going to go to utter dog shite.

We will win this in a nervy 2-1.

    Also, this;

I'm always nervy about games with S***s when there's seemingly a lot on the line. So emotionally vested it's tough to think clearly.

Everything hinges on the Arsenal defense. Can they show anything of the resolution that's stifled S***s the past 2 matches, or at least enough to give the offense a chance to do their thing? Arsenal have the ability to win this... or fail to show.

I do think that the lads will show intent. They see that even with all the hemming and hawing from fans and pundits they are in 4th place and in touching distance of third. This will be a prime chance to make a statement, so hopefully they all want to do just that.

Side note: Is it me or have the majority of years lately always featured the away leg of this derby later in the season? I can't recall the last time we had them come to the Grove after January?

There was that time Davids smashed up Eboue I think, and they scored. That was at home in the spring I think.

But I think you might be right.

The first 5-2 was in the spring. I think that was the last one: the one before that was the Bendtner game (or the David Pleat being David Pleat game).

Emery is constantly changing line-ups and formations, so it's hard to predict tomorrow's, but here's what I would guess:

Rotation will bring Ramsey in for Ozil. And probably Laca will start instead of PEA. I'll be a little disappointed if Mkhi has to be rotated out, e.g. for Iwobi, because Henrik's been really positive for us lately. Xhaka was left out of the squad last time... not sure why, or whether he's fit enough to come back in.

At the back, I could see him sticking with our last back 3. Monreal, Koscielny & Sokratis were all in training, so hopefully they're all fully fit. But Kos took a hard knock on his knee last match, so let's just pray he doesn't have to give way for Mustafi.

To pull this off, we'll need players who are switched on all the time, playing with urgency, intensity & pace (IMHO), avoiding big mistakes, and perhaps a little luck going our way.

    COYG!!!!
